Poor guy. I know my trip from Cincy to louisville, then down to South of Macon GA was a long ass trip on a GSXR 1000. I wish I had my 2001 Gix 1k though. I kind of wish I had got the busa for a street bike.

True, but they are so close that the mods and rider is what will make the bike fast. Making the rider the most comfortable will pay more dividends then the small margin one is faster. I would ask the guys who compete on these bikes how the clutch behaves and probably go from there. I have ridden the busa once and not hard, but will get to race a Brock Performace ZX 14 soon.

I think it all depends on which one fits you the best control wise. Do you like the angle of the bars better on which bike? Which one has the reach to the bars you want? I think the Suzuki has better Aeros from the Wind tunnel Tests I saw in one of the bike magazines. Which one has the peg positions you want?

I guess I should ask a girl out, I might have a shot. Doubt it though I haven't been struck by lighting twice and I am not holding the winning lottery ticket.

The only true mark I have gotten on my upper body in a crash was in leather (no not a reason just an FYI). I had a T-Shirt on and leather jacket with body armor. When my elbow hit my arm moved inside the jacket and the jacket ripped off the first few layers of skin. Now it was just a burn mark like you get sliding into 2nd base with shorts or something. For those who want protection I highly sugges getting a Mesh jacket with body armor. They are very inexpensive 1/4 of the price as leather jackets. I always wear one or the other and months June-August is generally the Mesh

Leather is not a must. There are several Mesh options that are very good. Yes I have crash tested the Joe rocket Ballistic Mesh and even though I really didn't slide after my 40 mph eject the jacket did it's job and hell i still use it since you can barely tell it touched the ground. Why people think leather is the only option I have no idea.

So far performance is better since the upgrade and I can get used to the color as this one is white for me. As long as the performance stays up I am fine with it.

Those blue rims look good and were stock on that model, the worst rims I remember was on the older 2000 (I think) ZX 6R yellow version. Oh my goodness those were fugly. I would love to get custom paint my rims either: Hub and spokes Black/ outside orange Hub and spokes orange/ outside black.
