  1. I do have issues with reading comprehension, but even with my 6th grade education, I can tell you that what you wrote was fucking retarded. Let's see... "You are a fake jackass." "That guy tried to sell me a fake Rolex" If I were in 6th grade or asked a 6th grader what the definition of fake was in each sentence, they would tell me the same thing. "Fake jackass" - pretending to be a real jackass... "Fake Rolex" - pretending to be a real Rolex...
  2. PS, I will play both sides as I have friends from both sides. I have shown nothing but support of several racers from AFJ. Guys like Gerbs, Mongo, Brandon and especially Tuna. Even Bob. Over here, I have several friends that are even over as members on AFJ. So, by definition, I do play both sides. I've talked to Brandon after an issue i had here and it is well documented. Ben knows he and I have had our battles. We've settled and honestly, he was a bigger man than I as he could have easily told me to fuck off, but didn't and we are good. I think... He knows I have had choice opinions of over here and things. But, as life goes on and how you are mentally and how you view the real world, petty shit on the internet is silly. I know I have been one to stir shit like you and even still do at times. But, I am a lot different than I used to be. I've grown up and can tell you by experience that what you are trying to do isn't worth it... The thing also to remember is that I never once posted on either site in regards to the thread here or there regarding this website battle that had erupted. But, you can try and make shit up if you wanna. Oh, and if you come back with comments made back when Ben and I were back and forth, you might wanna save the trouble as he and I have discussed and talked through it...
  3. I was talking shit about ORDN? Really? Wanna provide a link? I'm Lizard 1 over there...
  4. Once again... Dude, are you even an adult yet? Please tell me you are a 22 year old that is mad at the world. Because you are just not getting it... But, just for fun, what you stated is probably true. I've not really met Ben either, but you are saying he is not a real jackass. That's actually a compliment in a way. He is a FAKE jackass so, not really a jackass, but acts like he wants to be one? So, he looks into the mirror, wants to see himself as a jackass, but is not because he is a FAKE jackass? Not sure why he would pretend to be a jackass... I am confused by your poor grammar... I think you meant to say "You are fake and a jackass." Amazing what a difference that would have made, eh? I mean, you like to stir and have zero reasoning behind your stirring, I thought I would stir also for fun... By the way, Ben, I am not saying you are a jackass. Even a fake one...
  5. Slicks in every class, beotch!! Oh, and to get on that bike, you gotta tea bag Madcat's face at Nelson before he goes out on grid. Wait... He has a mangina and isn't coming! You have lost!
  6. I ain't here to teach anything!! Kidding... I am always open to helping anyone out. That should shut Ped up. Pegram is kinda fast. Well, he talks funny, but he's got skills. And, if anyone knows how to market one's racing program, it is that dude. Look at his pits and you can see what I am talking about. Not going to jump and swing off Larry's nuts here as I have been critical of him before, but the fact is that no matter how fast you think you are or how fast you think your buddies are, there will ALWAYS be someone faster. Always. This comparison BS that Ped is doing is insane and childish. At this stage, if we were playing by his rules, apparently ORD is the King Dick here since Larry is on board...
  7. If you have never been to Putnam, you will asses it to be not worth the $15 cheaper than Mid-O event... The track is certainly not to par with a championship quality venue like Mid-O, Barber, Road A, etc... BUT, the track is a blast! It is a huge corner speed track and while it looks easy to figure out, there is MUCH more speed to be had. The facilities are actually quite good for a club track. Good and clean restrooms centrally located. The paddock is like any other club level track. The garages will add a little bit, but mostly for the car guys. Viewing is easy. Go to the guard rail and watch 2 feet from the track!!! The only place you can really get that close. I am actually amazed there hasn't been rules in place to avoid that close to the track... As for elsewhere with kids, etc., the stands are awesome and you can see literally every turn with exception to maybe turn two. Timing tower? Like anywhere else - above the start/finish line. Timing tower isn't an issue for track day riders... They also have a viewing tower where you can actually go up top and watch a little bit. Most the track days do the classrooms up there and is very nice. Great pics in the tower. Everything from Indy car tests to lightning strikes to motorcycle races. Especially some old guy on a purple F3!! I love me some Putnam Park. Seen everything from wins there to the death of a friend 3 feet away. The memories good and bad and crashes to victories. Putnam will always have a special part in my heart.
  8. Wow... Well, there was no money on the line so, the times will be slower. My point was racers in WERA or MS that run that track will run 15s at the front. The experts are going to run more like Gene and myself were running at the front. The times Ricky and Lewis ran were probably not common from typical club guys so, you an throw away 10s... AGAIN, that is if the weather works out. 41 and a cold track will net a lot slower times... When MS runs there (remember, the talent pool is deeper than what MCRA is going to pull overall), my expectations will be high 15s for the lead 600 novice guys. If you look at Nelson, the front novices are in the 12s. That 2 second difference is common... At any track...
  9. Throw out a name. The issue is that if the person isn't brought up, things will never change. CR responsibilities are the riders within the group - not getting seat time and blasting guys in a way that conflicts with the rules for that group. Now, there are always going to be situations where a CR may pass inside against the rules, but as you stated, it is usually a speed difference and they got caught out and had no other real choice... Braking like a sum beotch can cause more issues than a clean pass inside...
  10. Gotta be a 42, man from what I remember...
  11. Red- If you are doing 19s at Putnam, that's Advanced. Anything under :20 in my mind is Advanced for a track day. Not many guys are going to get 12s at a track day as that is only 2 seconds off full blown race pace. I am willing to bet that Ricky and Dave were in the 12s at best... If you can pull a 15 at Putnam for the MS event, you will be at the front of the Novice guys and a great target to hit. VERY obtainable and surely what you can obtain with a little work on your end. To give you an idea, Reuben can run 15s on a bone stock (suspension also) GSXR600 with ease at Putnam at a track day. 15s at a track day pace is really fast and doing 19s is something that puts you into A group easily. Obviously, weather makes a difference and with the low temps, the times would have been slower than the last RRGC event for example...
  12. Here's the thing, dude... You come on here with a complete prospect to stir shit. You get Magley from ORD talking stupid and then a few other guys that have stated that they don't care for Brandon and the way he handles himself on this site, BUT wished him luck. I am not sure why they threw that in there, but it is honesty and I respect that. BUT, they wished him well. Your problem is that all you want to do is stir shit. You comment that you haven't come on here to degrade and cause issue, but your comments are just as bad as the others. It is truly a pot calling kettle idea in that regard. You really are representing AFJ and that's not what a lot of them feel like. Look at Grape who came into this thread. He could have easily talked shit, but actually was civilized and gave some good insight as to why the things happened the way they did. That is respect to Brandon as it is his thread... You on the other hand... I don't approve of either side and what has been said. I truly do not. But, Ben has been more than civil, more than professional and on AFJ's side, so has Grape. Two guys at the front of the other threads and other topics. I think you really need to take their lead and maybe grow up a bit and be a man and walk away. Here's the bottom line. NOBODY is going to wish ill will on anyone. Whether they like them of not. Brandon created a thread and people wished him well. You and some others took it as BS and fake. What you are incapable of understanding is a difference between the internet world and the real world. If someone came up to you that you didn't care for and stated that they were going to race in the AMA for the first time, you'd either say "OK" or "Good luck". "OK" is really showing you don't care and do not like that person. Or, you could easily still say "Good luck" and mean it. Doesn't mean all of a sudden you are buddies and going to share a chocolate shake together... Get over it, dude. They wished him luck, some even supported him and defended him from fellow board members on here. Relax and walk away...
  13. Red- This response can justify one simple idea... Magley's comments are from someone that has one, NEVER raced, competed at any higher level outside maybe T-Ball that his parents forced him to compete in and two, has about zero knowledge about racing in general. If he did, he would understand why his comments make absolutely zero sense... Under his mentality, there are guys including himself that have WAAAAAY more seat time than even me. So, he should be able to wax my ass on a motorcycle... He has WAAAAAAY more seat time than I promise you Brandon probably does and he should be able to show up and send Brandon back with his tail between his legs... All this calling out by both Magley and Ped is so funny. Until they actually show up and prove that more seat time is faster OR they actually man up and come to the track and make us all eat crow, they need to step back and shut up.
  14. Keep the rains mounted!!! It's good mojo to keep that "R" shit away! Bike looks good!!
  15. Back then, I believe it was centralized around the highway video. Yes, I considered that squid like in behavior. But, he's racing and at least trying hard. I give kudos to him for that. I also support a few other AFJ race guys. There are some good riders amongst them. I've been supportive of them also. Are you saying people cannot change their feelings after a while? I won't renig on what I said on that piece of shit forum back then.
  16. My comments were directed at Magley who keeps baggin on Brandon. Wasn't towards Grape at all.
  17. Bike is finally done. Did a few things differently... She's all ready for a beat down at Moto Series this weekend... I'm a little worried my suspension will not be here in time, but if not, we will still have a blast with the MS boys!! See ya Saturday and Sunday!!
  18. Dude, let the shit go. I explained the reasoning as to why it is called AMA Pro Racing. EVERYONE on the grid is an AMA Pro racer. Again, the example with the AMA RRGC which is a Pro AM event. The guys with current AMA Pro Cards will not be allowed to compete. It's not always going to pan out to be getting money. But, if he gets into the top 20, there is a payout. Hell, he may have made a couple of hundred for the place he finished. It isn't going to cover anything, but it is possible he gets something... Second, the top guys will get money for sure. Tires, sponsors and class earnings. But, there cannot be 40 number 1 finishers. I am not sure as to your outlook on all of this. Should a kid give up playing local soccer because they cannot win the championship every year? Should a guy never enter a race at a local MX event because he cannot win? Should you stop riding your bike because there is certainly someone better than you? The point is that there are 40 plus spots available. There are guidelines as to the maximum amount of time allowed to make the grid. Those that do are a select group and are worthy of making the race. Look at Melissa Parish - she failed to make the cut in Daytona Sportbike. She IS a professional and IS paid to race. But, she failed to make the cut. I know for sure she is faster than most people I know. Should she hang her leathers up and get a real job because she cannot even make a race? The difference between guys like you and racers is that racers don't have a loser mentality. They feel they can accomplish the set goals they have for themselves and be competitive. If you don't see the value, that's cool. But, I am willing to bet that you've never felt the way a racer has felt or feels everyday when they race/ride. Some people are cut out for racing, some try it because it looks cool and some try it and fail terribly and walk away. There are those all over the board as to why they do it. But, unless you have and unless you can relate, you won't ever understand it...
  19. Who is Jeff? As for times, I would think 13s-14s is possible for a win at that event. Probably slower really... I'd like to know what Dave was running to beat Ricky. I know when we were all there for the RRGC, Ricky and Lewis were in the 10s. Gene and I were in the 11s and Dave was in the 12s. I'd think that with the weather, the few racers that were there, 15s probably would get you a podium...
  20. I'm not being mean, dude... I am just saying that I don't know how you are going to get credit for a race with WERA. They require you to have raced at least two official races in a recognized series. The sportsman race is not licensed racers and therefore, not the same as if you went to WERA and ran two events races... If by "we will probably race the same race", you must mean the MTT and Stars HW races at Vintage weekend? You might want to check and verify that you will be allowed to race that race... I am not sure that provisional racers are allowed at that event..
  21. Red flag. 11 laps was what was left...
  22. Magley- First of all, how in the hell do you think Brandon has more experience? Do you know that most of that field has been running in the AMA for years? How about the fact that guys like Lewis who are new to the scene this season have more National races than he does? Or, how about the fact that in ANYTHING, age isn't a measure of experience... I am really not sure why you are making the comments you are. You are bashing a guy and citing reasons that make absolutely ZERO sense... It is a sign that you are trying to participate in a conversation that you are not well versed in and really, just taking a moment to bash a guy and that's the real bottom line, isn't it? All because you don't like a guy. That's really, really sad...
  23. But, I thought the races were the GT based classes for licensed road racers... You ran the sportsman race that is designed for those that want to try competing, but not against licensed racers as they may feel uneasy being dumped in with them. So, you technically ran the wrong race... That's why I was confused because that race wasn't to be for guys with race licenses...
  24. Technically speaking, not very many guys get paid to race anymore... For example, when Cardenas won the 600 title a few years ago, he had paid for that ride... Only a VERY select group of riders actually get paid to race. But, you still make money via contingency and class payouts, bonuses from the team you race for if you do well enough, etc. There is money involved and payouts and guys that are at the front will win that money. If you get a tax form from racing, it can be argued that you are professional... I lean towards what you are saying. My feelings are that if you ride out of a semi truck, do this as sole income or the only thing that you do and have no other job, you are a professional. But in technical terms, anyone with an AMA hard card is considered a participant in professional racing... It really boils down more so in the MX/SX ranks where there are levels or classes. Once they compete in a "pro paying event", they can no longer be considered amateur. Brandon for example, will not be allowed to race the AMA RRGC at Putnam this year like he did last season...
  25. Hey, man... I can respect that. I don't really give a shit what you think about me, but to make shit up is really spineless... You've never met me and all you have done is been critical when I chime in about racing. I've done this for a long time. I may not be impressive to you and I certainly am not, but at the same time, when you degrade someone and what they have tried to do well at and have made a career around this industry, I take offense. Especially when you have no basis of your comments towards me. But again, everyone has the right to have an opinion. Good, bad or in the middle. That's totally cool. Just don't make shit up, man... We are good otherwise. And, I hope you don't think my comments are kissing Brandon's ass. I'm not. Just supporting a fellow racer. That's it.
