  1. Or not. My dad got confused, and after talking to him, it was on the intake side of the engine -- I think it was the IAT (intake air temp) sensor that was replaced. It still doesn't idle right, but it's at least rideable now.
  2. No issues, no case. Dropped many times, cracked my tile floor. Battery lasts a fortnight on a single charge.
  3. You will die. No matter how much gear you wear, who sanctions the track, what bike you ride... none of it matters. You will die.
  4. This is always a Wednesday night option. summitmotorsportspark.com/component/jevents/icalrepeat.detail/2015/05/06/325/-/-?Itemid=1 Very similar atmosphere to Bike Nights Other machines to look at A lot of BS-ing A lot of waiting Greasy food Greasy people
  5. I've never done any demo days -- what type of line or wait is typically expected? I'd like to hop on the R3 and R6, maybe the VMAX, time permitting.

    Ringtones

I like to put these on my friends cell phones as their ringers... be sure the volume is maxed out, for full effect. Stupid_VAGINAS.mp3 MR_ROOTER_1_noAd.mp3
  7. Enthusiasm is all it takes to have thousands of views on a YouTube channel... the street racing helps a little too I suppose.
  8. Scooterless, or I'd be in for Round 2. Though I mandate no Vespas. Those things are the Katanas of scooters.
  9. He was down at MidOh a time or two last year on his HP4. I'm sure you were on track with him that day John. I first met him at the drag strip on a Wednesday night out at Norwalk - he brought his crew out there. I was told he did IT stuff for a living, but he's definitely not afraid to drop coin and he surrounds himself mostly with friends that drop coin too.
  10. http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/4511.712 Opinions are cute.
  11. Be wary of anyone who rides the copper pony.
  12. My busa senses were tingling. I see there is a lot of dissatisfaction about your purchase. Let me try to make things right. How about I trade you an '03 for it, straight up? Or I'll trade you an '03 WITH prop rod, for yours plus cash... from you. Or, just the prop rod - $13,000 obo. I will personally guarantee that it was not touched by any 'grease monkeys', ne'erdowells, or generally anyone of the 'lower caste'. All my technicians have a minimum of two Masters degrees, 3 patents, some coursework towards a PhD, and all graduated at the top of their night-school culinary classes while attending Harvard Law, to make sure I only sip the finest Kopi Luwak brew and feast on fois gras whilst in their lobby lined of leather-bound service manuals. Help me, help you.
  13. We were in the upper paddock right next to the RD rig.
  14. STG is still running this 2-for-1 deal on Hotbodies. I don't know if you have to get the SAME body kit or not... probably need to ask. I'm POTENTIALLY mulling around getting the SV1000/s650 race set, if this is the route I decide to go, I'd wonder if someone wants to go in with me??
  15. Yea, I know... I'm still trying to work out scheduling for the day prior. It'll be a crazy weekend for me to work in Autobohn. I'm also trying to get a feel on whether to prep the SV (safety wire+ Shakskinz/Hotbodies), buy a track-only piece (looking at 600s, but would consider anything), or try to work a rent/lease deal out with a "you wreck you buy it" caveat. It was much easier when KTM prepped the RC8Rs for me
  16. ^--- +1 Thanks again. Steve, I'll be PMing you.
