  1. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=67 "Tire shaving is an effective means of permitting more of a tire's performance capability to be realized early in its life. And in many cases, shaved tires used in competition actually have a longer useful life than tires that enter competition at full tread depth."
  2. Or if you have an Android phone, Picasa is already built in. In the Gallery app you can select to upload it to Picasa and then share the link. http://support.google.com/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=132550 You can also set it up to automatically upload every picture you take.
  3. It worked for me, but it was a repost of the 95 Pontiac Grand Am for sale ad.

  5. If it's for a Honda, the interwebs says it's the vtec solenoid. Edit, I see it's for a Nissan, nvm... I did find this: http://www.fixya.com/cars/t5342706-1993_nissan_altima_code_21_ignition
  6. Practice. Take the truck out in a field somewhere, or a parking lot that has a bit of a hill. It's all about feeling the clutch and when it's about to grab. All cars have a different feel to them too. The more you drive the smoother you will start shifting. That might not sound like a lot of advice but it's the troof.
  7. I just bought a wallet on Saturday. For me, the smaller the better. I don't ever have cash, so I don't need a place for it. Picked up this guy... http://www.zappos.com/product/7645839/color/287320 What I liked was the leather/mesh combo. I guess it's 1000d ballistic Nylon...whatever that means.

  13. Octane is a good rock station
  14. Yeah 135mph isn't real challenging, it's even easier to do on a bike.
  15. Aahhh... See I've always used my phone, and I've been through areas with no reception (I'm on t-mo for fucks sake) and its been fine. I also use my phone for entertainment. The GPS voice will interrupt whatever you are doing. Just saying.
  16. False. Thanks to pre caching
  17. I'd rather buy that old Mini in the other thread that this POS that was owned by some trumpet player.
  18. It would protect it from most things, its pretty durable. Actually a lot of people put it on for winter to protect against salt etc. You can put it on as thick as you want.
  19. I plastidipped the wheels on the rover a few months back. Shit holds, it's easy to do, looks good, is cheap. I got the custom gun metal color, had a tiny bit too much blue in it for my liking but it works. Here's a pic I took while I was a couple of coats in. I ended up giving it like 10+ coats and it could still use some more. It's quite a bit darker now than what the picture shows. Cool thing was that once it dried a bit, i just peeled it off the Land Rover logo on the center cap like a bauce
  20. Yes that are in that price range. For $27K you can get into a FWD A3.
