I like the Red Wings for comfort, but don't and won't wear steel toes. Look into their hiking boots. They have steel toe versions and are very comfortable. I am very hard on boots and wear my Red Wings every day. They last about a year because I wear the soles out quick. I'm still searching for a comfortable pair of Vibram soled boots.
