  1. Half of the Slo N Go group is sportbike guys. The description says: Group for those of us who don't ride sportbikes, and those who don't mind riding with us. Its been quite dead for some time like most of the user groups.
  2. I would put "aluminum in oil" in the Not Good catagory.
  3. He's not the King, he's the Prez! Why do thin-skinned cruiser guys join up here with alarming regularity only to bitch that everyone doesn't see that they are cooler than Fonzie? Here's some advice; chill out, get over yourself, remove the chip from your shoulder, enjoy the diversity of the site and realize that we all bag on each other for all kinds of things. Nobody cares what you ride, we only care that you ride. Now quit bitchin and show up for some rides. Just keep in mind that we will be riding PAST the bars. Edit: not referring to the OP necessarily, or anyone in particular, just thin skinned cruiser guys in general. It gets annoying to hear them whine all the time.
  4. I think we have a love connection! :leghump:
  5. ^this! Never give them ammo to use against you. Ever. Cuz they will use it. Insurance companies do not believe that honesty is the best policy, especially if screwing you will save them a few bucks.
  6. Those YICS engines were bulletproof. Nice first bike. My uncle had a brand new one in 82. He kept it at my granddads shop and I used to sneak it out when I was 13 ('83) and haul ass around the country roads before sneaking it back into its exact position in the garage. Good times, but looking back it seems I had more balls than brains. Not sure when that switched.
  7. Day late. He has a huge enclosed trailer now.
  8. Sweet! But, uh, we're gonna need pics.
  9. I get about 35-38 from the FZ1, but that's a big improvement over the old Vmax. It only got about 25.
  10. Bump for a beautiful Bee
  11. Ah! Good deal. I was just going off what the snake racer said.
  12. You can't run anything at the Wayne that is wider than 50" anyway. I've never seen a buggy down there.
  13. Not sure. Has to have a title to get the plates.
  14. Of course! You can have the mason jar they are in too!
  15. Yeah, I guess. Its not like they came with a plate mount.
  16. the plates look gay (bi-plane against a blue sky or some shit) and come with a pink expiration sticker. My stickers both expired in '11.
  17. Those guys are FAGS! - Spicoli
  18. I don't know that id run seafoam on a nearly empty tank. Id show up with a gas can and fill it up before starting it. That will thin out the old gas enough that it won't matter. Plan on it needing a battery also. All the things it needs are barganing chips for getting it dirty cheap.
  19. No, its $36 for the plate for 3 years and $12 for a wayne day pass.
  20. What? Dude, tell me you didn't offer to pay for the dog?! Its their fault for not controlling their animal. If that dog had caused you to get injured I don't think your wife or kids would have offered to pay the dog owner. The owner is at fault. Make them pay for your damages.
  21. Exactly! You have to have them to ride any state APV areas, so basically, Wayne. What is crazy is that it used to be an $8 sticker that you had to affix to the bike. Now its a $36 plate that is super easy to transfer from ATV to ATV, and its razor sharp so its super easy to lay a vein open with when you crash in the middle of no where. The politicians in charge of this are fuckin retarded.
  22. I tried a smaller rear once, then I got married. I find that I like a slightly bigger rear anyway....as long as its round and smooth.
  23. Its got a nice aftermarket seat. Either a Sargent or maybe a Corbin. If its clean (other than the drop damage) i'd pick it up. Those are nice bikes. Check out VFRForums to fine specifics related to that year and model.
