  1. I find it mind blowing that there are people out there who will pay $1000 for 1 helmet.
  2. Where Mick lives this would probably be a bad idea.
  3. I saw somebody posted up that it was stolen.
  4. Wayne. I believe the closest trails to you are Ironton. Don’t go alone and be armed. Lots of homeless and crackies have been reported
  5. Did a few passes up and down the road last night and was sort of disappointed because I didn't notice a huge improvement like all the other say I should. It does start very easy compared to Stock but it didn't really give a huge seat of the pants boost. Feels like it's not getting enough of something and I think there's plenty of fuel so I'm going to try it tonight without the airbox cover.
  6. Did the sprocket change (15 to 14 and thicker to save spline), desmog, Dave's carb mods, went up from 50/152 to 55/158 jets and desnorkled. Also no chance to test ride due to monsoon season. Will start without choke. May have to drop down a step.
  7. So where are you from, what do you ride and what modifications do you plan to do?
  8. We haven't done a thread like this in a while, so what's your favorite way to clean your gear? I've always tried to remove bugs with a warm wet sponge when I get home and put it away clean, but it doesn't always happen. Just bought a new suit that is covered with some long dead bugs and the warm wet sponge isn't working too well. Whats you're secret?
  9. I saw your trailer posted up on one of the for sale pages on the Facebook's. Send me the picture and the information and I will put it up on the tree monkeys and Wayne Atv pages.
  10. Where are you looking to move to, Mick?
  11. Jackets still available? Buddy of mine needs one
  12. Still available? Got pics? Have a buddy getting back into ridting and he needs some gear
  13. The above was advice given to me by someone who's been in the travel trailer business for 30 years. I've seen lots of fiberglass campers delaminate catastrophically, but never once have I seen the siding style delaminate. Just ask Bowdog.
  14. I'm going to miss opening Saturday for a funeral but I will be there Sunday if anyone wants to ride.
  15. Jayco builds quality trailers. I personally would stay away from anything with fiberglass smooth sides. There's always seem to delaminate. Look at the campers that the sides look like siding. In my experience they leak a whole lot less than the slab side campers.
  16. I wouldn't pull much with that oversized unibody car. The transmissions in those things are not built to pull a lot of weight and 5000 pounds is a lot of weight or something like that.
  17. I just now figured out that you're talking about flat speakers. My uncle has a set of those. I don't think uses them much anymore. I'll see i he is interested in selling.
  18. The good ones just like to see you happy. Now, What the hell are we talking about here?
  19. Trained dogs are pretty easily bypassed with thick steak
  20. All it takes is one or two of the local ghetto rats to know what he's got in there and it's all over but the Cryin. Lock your barn up like a fortress, cover the windows and if you do go with an alarm, make sure it has an extertal house speaker. They come in a stainless steel enclosure and are loud as hell. If someone trips your alarm you want to attract attention immediately.
  21. A few years back I would've told you not to waste your money but that stuff has come along way in recent years. A good security system isn't a terrible idea to cover your valuables when you're not around or with in cell phone range. The biggest argument for having a security system is that you can hook up your smoke alarms to it to call in a fire if you're not home. Be careful with the shotgun idea. Wouldn't want to fill your dad's ass full of buckshot!
  22. I would recommend motion activated lights and some cheap camera system. You can also get one of those driveway motion detectors that sets off a chime in the house when someone crosses a certain threshold.
