  3. Kevin (yota) is finally putting his bike back together in the ketchup and mustard livery.
  4. Amazing bike!!! So easy to ride, So light, and so deceptive. It wasn't scary and didn't even feel scary fast.... until you look down at the speedo and realize, holy shit this thing is fast. The S model has electronically adjustable ohlins suspension DTS (ducati traction control) and a color LCD dash, that tells you all kinds of cool stuff. It's a lot like the new multistrada except in a superbike with 195hp. Anyway, here are some pictures and I'll have a video up in a bit as well.

  6. Exactly, it's the best for when people actually ride their bikes.

    Big Muskie Ride

I feel the same way. I mean, it was the #1 biggest ever built, that is worth something right?
  9. Great ride in SE oh today. I love the bucket, here are some pics.
  10. http://www.kiddofspeed.com/ I think is has been posted before but I love this site.
  11. And....here is the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LW5FFagDXX0&hd=1
  12. Most metal things can be sanded and polished yes. Just takes time.
  13. Got the pipes on the bike today, added less color than I thought initially, I'm sure as I ride they will get more golden. Yah, I made a video A little color after some idle Got back later in the evening and they were getting a bit golden.
  14. to clean up freshly machined parts before anodizing I believe. He got the machine fairly cheap and is still experimenting with it. I can tell you one thing though, it's amazing at cleaning up pipes, as you can see. It even pretty much took the carbon out of the inside of the pipes. It's basically the same sort of machine that people use to polish stones, it's just a really really big one.
  15. So, as you can see in these first few pics, the pipes on my bike have gotten a little brown and nasty, which is a shame because they are a beautiful italian set of pipes, the cross connect alone is cool. So I took them over to Chris's and threw them in his tumbler. What a cool machine. After about 4 hours the pipes came out looking about like this, So after that it was time to take them home and polish them. Hmm, not for street use. shhhh Lots of strings like I said, the crossconnect is pretty Here are the tools I used Palm Sander Dremel Multimax and sander I didn't picture the slightly soapy water drill and polishing attachment and of course the bench grinder with polishing wheels Tomorrow I am going to polish a little more and mount these up and watch them turn gold. Stay tuned.
  16. Do I get a discount if I dyno this bad assed motor scooter.
  17. LOL, it is a bold move, kinda like wearing pink, if you are a bad ass you can pull it off.
  18. Appreciate it man, I know I had a ton of good looking pics of you man, you were going pretty good, even a few where you are dicing it up pretty close with some other guys.
  19. Check out photos guys. $50 for the full day. $80 for 2 and many mix and match digital download options. I am at all of Ducati Indy's track days. $10 single digital download. $25 for 5 mix and match with your friends.
  20. That's Jeff I think. He had tassels last year too'. He was the MCRA guy that spoke in the riders meeting Btw. No I don't think I have the crash pics. Sorry.
  21. I havent read this whole thread but I will say that the MCRA event was a bit unorganized and was way overbooked. Also running a race clinic in the novice group is not really a great idea IMHO. Having said that both days seemed to go ok with very few incidents. It seemed there were very few first timers. On the other hand it seemed in all classes but advanced traffic was literally stacking up like a free way traffic jam at the bus stop. I suppose I'm spoiled by orgs like stt and typical Ducati Indy days where instructions are clear and there is never over booking. Non the less I know the guys at Ducati Indy were not excited about how it all went down. They are more used to the way they run things with commonwealth. Less people and more oriented towards safety and learning. Sometimes I bring a bike to the events I photograph and ride a little. In retrospect I was fine with missing this one. I Either way the actual guys at MCRA seemed like very good down to earth guys, I wasn't real happy to get double booked with their photographer (add that to the frustrating cluster) but him and I talked and were able to be cool working side by side. all I can say is please don't anyone think this is a typical Ducati Indy day. It's not. I was at every one of their days last year and they run a top class show and I truly believe Bill and Matt won't let the MCRA days in September go down like this. Btw. Photos are up at electriceyeimages.com.
