After a great deal of conversing with eachother over the merits of Christmas Ale, Yota and I have decided that a holiday get-together would be a grand idea. So, here it is. The details are below, but the idea is simply this: getting together with our OR brothers and sisters, having some Christmas Ale wassail and hanging out. We're looking to get a keg of Ale (I am going to try and lock that up by the end of the week), and guest are free to bring whatever they'd like the crowd to sample. (Or be beer snobs. We really don't care either way.) What: Christmas Ale party at RVT's haus When: Saturday, December 19th, 2009. 7 PM Why: Christmas Freaking Ale!! Who: Our OR gang! Obviously, me being in NEO, this is a bit of a roadie for some. I can host a few (Yota has dibbs on a couple spots already), but don't be discouraged. If you trek up from C-Bus or beyond, we'll find a roof to put over your head and get you a place to crash.

I think my kids are converting to black on me as well! They have now gone to referring to their favorite kool aid flavor as 'red'. Since they are not of legal drinking age, what other signs should I look for, CO2? I loves ya, babe!

Its a toss-up between my '97 gixxer 750 and the current one. I have always wanted the RC, but I got to know the gixxer so well itw as an extension of me.

I also heard today at our company's Veterans' luncheon that everyday there is a 10% discount offered by Lowe's for veterans (with proof). Home Depot is doing something I think today for vets. Got that today from a vet who just came back from Iraq and is a good source of information. Working to confirm that myself today.
