  1. i wont be doing northeast region anymore, summit and vir etc are just too damn far from michigan. but i may have to see if anyone up here is trekking it down there to hitch a ride.
  2. i did the solo at nelson and by the end of the race i was dizzy and sore from the bumps. glad you had a good weekend. one more to go and you get rid of the noob shirt!
  3. man i can't wait to get out there again. i need to do some laps!!!! i dont know if i can do grattan in a few weeks because ill probably be moving in to my new place...
  4. update first post with pics link.
  5. this is definitely a solid trailer and would buy it myself if i weren't in the middle of moving. good luck with your sale steve and hope to catch you back out on the track, probably at nelson.
  6. yea we passed over 75 going to the airport. backed up for miles!
  7. as evidenced by the fact there were three accidents within 1.5 miles on 75 going to the bridge, shoot over to 471 and there is two on that before the river. finally get over into kentucky and there is one again on 275. all looked to be pretty serious accidents, one was two cruisers - hopefully everyone was ok but seriously, a little rain and nobody can drive...
  8. how to disable it http://www.fastcompany.com/1758259/how-to-block-facebooks-face-recognition-and-tighten-other-privacy-settings

  10. ok ill get pics up tomorrow or sunday.
  11. will be for sale in a few weeks, if there is interest now i can be sure to expedite the process. obviously i will be in michigan, but will be making frequent trips to and from columbus/dayton if you would like to meet up and see the truck. pictures will be up in a few days. what i can think of for the time being - LS Regular Cab model 135k 2.2L 4cyl 5-spd manual 20/24mpg regular maintenance new tires - 2500 miles new battery - 500 miles 5k HID lights pioneer headunit with iphone/ipod and aux inputs 2-8" kicker subs manual locks/windows tailgate extender turns the 6ft bed into an 8ft. used sparsely for the past two years. mostly used for weekend grocery runs or track duties. my bike was my main form of transportation. reason for selling: need a bigger truck with 4x4 for these coming michigan winters and towing. this truck is a great vehicle and will be sad to see it go http://www.flickr.com/photos/58504565@N07/sets/72157627000844204/ more pics are in the album link above. $2500 OBO like i said, if they're is interest now i can make it available sooner.
  12. does that include the posts from before the server crash?
  13. i love these threads. makes me want to get started sooner than next week.
  14. took you long enough to get that price for the donkey today mike
  15. i will agree to an extent that the qs is more noticeable than an upgraded suspension because it's immediate fun and "cool" that can be had. although i'll agree with brian more that suspension is a more worthwhile upgrade that takes off seconds from one's laptimes vs thousands of a second from qs use and should be a much higher priority than a qs. however, at the price he's found it - it would be something i dont think i'd pass up even if suspension wasn't done yet.
  16. fuel or spark depending, in this case spark yes. in theory, when you do clutchless upshifts old-school with quick off/on throttle it lessens the torque load on the engine allowing you to seamlessly shift into the next gear. the qs just does the quick off/on throttle dealio super quick for you eliminating this area focus and allowing you to use that extra concentration elsewhere. so the point is to gain that couple thousandths of a second that it takes you to roll off and back on the throttle (and the slight momentum loss from letting off) and allowing a computer to do it for you much quicker. the engine not firing is just a byproduct of the qs doing its job.
  17. wat. you mean all those bumps you don't use your suspension?
  18. sales to start and then additional responsibilities once they start rolling out some upcoming things this fall into next year related to their website and whatnot.
  19. i think the opportunity to work with riders discount and the perks that come with the job will more than make up for the long winters...
  20. in the process of finding and buying a 4x4 truck now actually... my little 4 banger s10 won't do up there for sure.
  21. mike is already hooking you guys up
