What is the maximum resolution supported by your TV? If it's a 1080p set, you want an HDMI cable. HDMI is the only thing that'll get 1080p resolution out of your system, and it makes a huge difference vs 1080i or 720p, especially in Blu-Ray movies. Most people think HDMI cables are super expensive thanks to marketing bullshit from companies like Best Buy and Monster Cable (NEVER buy a Monster Cable product). However, if you actually know what you're doing, they're really not at all expensive. Something like this will give you the same performance as the 80$ cable Best Buy probably tried to sell you when you bought the TV at a fraction of the price. If you need a different length, click here and scroll about halfway down the page till you get to the section titled "28AWG HDMI 1.3a Category 2 Certified Male to Male Cables"; those are the ones you want. The ones rated for in-wall installation are more expensive due to the shielding required and aren't needed unless you're doing some major electrical work.
