I just finished a brutally hard accounting class that's required of all students in a business major at OSU but that isn't actually related to my major (finance). There was one question on our second exam that I simply had no idea how to answer. I chose to write: "No idea. Ask an ACCOUNTING major." The professor found it funny enough to bring up while passing back the exams the next week

Idiocracy (trailer below...wanted to just embed the link, not the entire video...oh well) is easily one of my favorite movies. It tanked hard in theaters (blame FOX) and not many people know about it, but it's well worth seeing. The trailer sort of bills it as a zainy comedy, but it's really a very clever satire wrapped in an over-the-top setting. We have a winner. This is the sort of stuff I'm afraid of. Any time a cop gets to make a judgment call, I'm afraid. Not because cops are all terrible people who kill babies and shoot sportbike riders, but because cops are human and are inherently flawed. And you can be absolutely certain that I will never give a cop the benefit of the doubt, because I'm pretty sure that they view us in the same way.

I recognize you and that 650 (and the R6) from the Ninja 650 forums I thought I had noticed that you were from Ohio back when I wandered those forums regularly; didn't know if you knew about this site or not. There are one or two other people here from the Ninja 650/BRP forums, but I don't think they frequent the board often.

Glad to hear you saved it... There are times I wish I hadn't garaged my bike already (did it 4 weeks ago due to various circumstances), but hearing stuff like this and then seeing that Columbus has already started spraying that saltwater or whatever it is on the roads reminds me that I made the right choice. I hate winter

They already have the power to pull me over for giving it the beans down an on ramp, charge me with street racing, and then take my bike? That's news to me. I could have sworn the whole point of this law was to redefine street racing; what's the point of doing so if they already can? If this passes and someone here gets their bike taken because of that douchebag OHP officer that camps out on 71 and targets bikes, my first question will be "did you try to do anything about the new law?" If they say no, I'll have zero sympathy.

I actually like this show, and the thought of it becoming another Lost and turning to absolute contrived, redundant bullshit halfway through the second season is just an awful thought *edit* Also, if you guys are fans of good TV, hop on over to Hulu and check out the new Stargate: Universe series...it's really damn good. Fringe is killer as well, but it's well into the second season so jumping into the middle of it on Hulu might not be the best idea. If anyone is curious enough to take a -different- route to getting it though...shoot me a PM and we'll talk I've been watching V too, but I'm far from sold. They're now on haitus until 2010 and I pretty goddamn pissed they didn't show a skinned V before the break. It seems they're trying to play the "how long can we keep people interested without actually progressing the story any" game like Lost did.

In those states, the cops are used to the laws and the wording. Here, it would be a 'new' thing and you can be damned sure that the cops will be chomping at the bit to make examples of people and quite frankly, there are a -lot- of CPD and OHP officers out there that I wouldn't trust at all with the added power this law would give them.

Wonder if it would help if anyone on here who is a member of the AMA sent them an email alerting them to what's going on? Who knows, maybe they simply aren't aware of this bill and would start sending letters and stuff if someone gave them a heads up.

I saw one of those last year in late December. I was leaving a girls house late at night and the sky was perfectly clear...I looked up and saw that. I probably stood in her front yard and stared at the moon for 5 minutes; it had to have been a bit creepy to anyone who saw me, but goddamn was that awesome to see in person.

+1. Chrome's extension database was recently opened for uploads, so hopefully it'll have all the "must-have" FF extensions sooner rather than later. I'd be willing to make the switch, but I can't live without a certain handful of addons.

Ti frame, carbon wheels, magnesium swingarm, Ti bolts/fasteners all the way around, ohlins front end...the list goes on. It's not even half done but damn, this thing is already insane.
