  1. Heard about it from another motorcycle friend, figured this site has way more members, maybe someone plays and can shoot me an invite (in closed beta right now) http://www.ingress.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ingress_(game)
  2. I have no desire to be part of the planning committee... Russo was cool enough to plan the last few.
  3. brew crew only has 16 threads.
  4. I personally know 2 ex-miltary that want nothing to do with any firearms... how would you enforce such a mandate anyway?
  5. If you mean me... If we end up getting a hotel room, I see no reason why you couldn't. I don't have a room booked yet though since plans still seem to be in the air.
  6. I'm sure there will be room to crash on someone's floor/couch/window box/chair at the hotel if you ask nicely...
  7. I'd oppose an all out ban on guns.... just as I'd oppose an all out ban on religion...
  8. I have no idea how it was paid for at my school, or of the sheriff's department was so bored they just left the officer there as a priority measure...
  9. I have no problem with the school not flying the flag, or officially stopping the practice... it's the "ban" that I have trouble with, which seems to include individual students, their vehicles, apparel, accessories etc...
  10. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2249806/Confederate-battle-flag-deemed-offensive-banned-Texas-school.html http://www.statesman.com/news/news/local/hays-school-board-weighs-whether-to-ban-confederat/nTYrL/ Is it offensive? I'm somewhat torn on the issue... I do think it offends some people, I personally just find it stupid. (not really offensive) But just because some people find something offensive, should it be banned? I'm not convinced. I'm very surprised that it happened it Texas though.
  11. the unions is ripping off the 'Murican people, so when they can't sell their overpriced junk they concede to giant rebates to further rip off the 'Murican people in some strange way. those commie bastages.
  12. DOC!!! you better get your VFR-ridin' butt to the after-party this year...
  13. right, i get it in this particular case, I'm more concerned with the use of the law, and the evidence requirements to justify "intention"
  14. yes, but who's to say if you haven't been caught yet?
  15. that is how it would seem, though if they can't read your mind, how do they know your intentions?
  16. hell yeah, some "home alone" action going on there... if you really want to deter perps from breaking into your house you should set up that mannequin house party thing from home alone...
  17. looks like it was carefully planned http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/gunman-behavior-shootings-indicates-planning-control-former-fbi-180620270.html
  18. that is covered in section I... Like I said I think it's only illegal if there is residue in it or you've been convicted before... kinda like a bong, legal as long as used by someone over 21 for tobacco.
  19. looks like it might only be a felony if you've been convicted of drug trafficking before... Looks like you're safe choo choo, thanks to section I
  20. interesting, I wonder what it takes to be classified as a "hidden compartment"
  21. Dunno, he mostly spent his time flirting with the teachers...wrote up the occasional auto crash report for the kids who smacked into each other in the driveway...broke up a half dozen fist fights, and coordinated the drug sniffing dogs. (incidentally they only ever tore into one locker, and it turned out to be bacon bits...) the school was about 20 miles from my house, too.
