Wonder how long the head gasket bearing lasts...
  3. That's how you make money on an extended warranty or insurance, by denying claims. doesn't say much for the toughness or reliability of a harley though.
  4. How about 2/3 of homicides are committed with guns in the us... Wonder why firearms are the weapon of choice for homicide...
  5. Rather disappointing level of hatred in real life... even for me.
  6. I have no animosity towards harley riders themselves, I don't understand why anyone would want to limit themselves by choosing such a slow and poorly handling machine, especially for the money. But hell if it makes them happy, more power to them.
  7. Most of us do, and most of us realize we are putting our asses on the line every time we thumb the starter. We must ride with increased awareness, and expect drivers to do the dumbest things imaginable. Accept this responsibility, or motorcycling probably won't be something you will enjoy for very long.
  8. Generally pretty good, but your comment about mods isn't really accurate imo.I've got 20+ years on a motorcycle now, and I could easily find the cornering, and top speed limits of a stock harley. a stock rr, or zx, probably not, but mods aren't always about raising top speed either. my mods were to give my bike capability it didn't really have as stock.
  9. You're talking about a lot of weight, even if you got a lot of power.
  10. Yep media suppression, story only covered by 4 local news agencies... https://news.google.com/news/i/story?ncl=dTzsN7olEtDZ_JMQdGeuMq3dTBgbM&q=qandil&lr=English&hl=en
  11. 67 tempest, resurrected it from an advanced rust cancer, dropped a 400 4bbl pontiac into it, a gto rear end, and drove it for a couple years, got rid of it a while ago. Was a fun car.
  12. "I don't think that's appropriate" is just a phrase like "that's what she said" to inject some humor into an otherwise innocuous phrase. we really don't need to hear about any of jesus's emissions, first, second, or 500th.
  13. To be fair, hell is at least a fictional location in a story, like mordor, or Tony Stark's Malibu mansion, or the krusty krab. It could potentially freeze over if authors decide that's what happens to it.
  14. Welcome Fellow Honda rider!
  15. If children were designed by engineers to learn, then that might actually mean something.
  16. Standard testing method, Laymens terms http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/how_tested.shtml

This is certainly the ideal method, use a relay to make a dedicated switched circuit, that way you have convenience AND proper circuit protection. you still run the risk of losing your circuit that you're tapping for the relay if the relay get's compromised, or you don't properly seal for water ingress, but the GPS and phone might not be drawing much more than the relay, making the relay less beneficial. If it were a higher draw device, like extra horns or lights, or heated gear, i would definitely suggest another circuit, but for a couple amps... might not be worthwhile.
