  1. I've gotten a few jobs via headhunters, the reputable ones don't charge job seekers a penny, get their orders from employers. You typically sign a"good faith agreement" that if you're hired you agree to stay on the job for some period of time...
  2. Reliant is 1 up front, 2 in back... Isetta comes in 3 and 4 wheel models
  3. They come in 3 wheel and 4 wheel versions.. http://microcarmuseum.com/tour/images/isetta-3wheel00.jpg
  4. Nonsense, I've seen a goldwing with a car tire grind his kickstand in half (long ways), playing on the dragon for a week. Spark spark spark...
  5. The best part is the Round profile tires... Why not put on a set of mickey thompsons and use the whole tire?
  6. I'm trying to update wikifellowriders, and wikigov... Both need fixed.

This is the bulk of it, they have their advantages and disadvantages... personally, I like a phone i can tweak to fit my personality, and taste, as well as have some whiz bang "ooh" and "ahh" features. the Iphone is NOT that phone. It's reliable, and functional, but not powerful enough to call it "cutting edge". And with the possible exception of the fingerprint scanner, it doesn't have any feature that wasn't already available on an android phone already.

Not too many vulnerabilities in linux either...so I can always flip the switch on my dual boot machine.
  9. This is how I am when I have money for tires, lol
  10. Right, per government classification... but per the "motorcycle community"? No, most motorcyclists don't look at a robin and go "nice bike", they go "wow what a cheap little tippy car" that is no good... and the 2 wheel up front thing isn't new either.

Don't be too hard on him, even the newest iphone is about 2 generations behind the latest processors.
  12. Isn't that the whole discussion we just had, countersteering vs shifting your weight for leaning... We all do it, not everybody is dragging knees, but we all have to lean the bike to steer over 5mph or so. Throw handlebars on a reliant robin, now are you riding?
  13. Coming from first hand experience, I wasn't impressed... the backwards steering, the gutless acceleration, and the tippy feeling through the curves... not any good... and for the price tag? Complete rubbish. Great for snowmobile riders who want their fix in the summer, but for "motorcycle guys" forget it...
  14. My Droid 1 was a great phone, kept it stock the first year, then hacked and rooted it, custom roms and overclocked, worked beautiful until it was stolen... then I got the crap x2, then the 32 gig ip4 that Inow use for an ipod, and my current is the droid 4... but even the crap droid x2 had great signal.
  15. Which manufacture was your last android? I love motorola's antennas.

Which one did you end up getting? Maxx, motoX, gs4 ... One more point, motoX is made in america, mark one big bonus point over the ifad

Not impressed with the new "flat" look of the icons... but it does seem more "sophisticated" somehow... I still wouldn't go back to an apple product as my primary phone.
  18. that's my OTHER big bitch about iPhone, is their shitty shitty cellular antennas... I have had great signal, even in what are considered "dead spots" for most people using my motorola phones and verizon service. Same carrier when I had the IP4, dropped calls, and lack of data service constantly.
  19. I concur. With the exception of Jbot's colorful use of metaphor...
  20. gray color screen, apple logo, gray as well... little spinner right below it... AKA Gray screen of death.
  21. EXACTLY! that's why it's superior...
  22. I'd put money on it, head to head with a can am or any other trike... 1/4 mile, road track, dirt track, sand, freeway, whatever...
  23. I'll give you "reboot less often" but again we're talking about software written for multiple platforms being expected to work flawlessly on all of them... "reboot never" was not MY iPhone experience... I had the iphone 4 after my droid X2 debacle, and while it did work very consistently, I did have issues where it froze up and showed me the gray ghost apple screen, then I had to hard restart it, this happened maybe a half dozen times in the 9 months or so I used the phone as my primary. My fiancee, took the 4 as her primary phone, and I upgraded to the droid 4 I have today. after she dropped it and cracked the screen, she tossed a screen cover on it and continued using it until her upgrade came up and now uses the SGS3. I use the cracked 4 as my occasional ipod, and I was planning on jailbreaking it to use it as a 32gig jump drive. (haven't gotten around to that yet) But "never needed reboot" does not describe the experience I had.
