Thanks for the comments everyone. I think she is looking at Lexus too, but didn't see one that she liked yet. She has had a subaru for the last 7-8 years so her one requirement that the car is AWD. She is just used to that and wants it going forward. I will let her know about the EIS problems.

I think its funny that I am fine with the GTO and Pontiac Firebird remakes, but can not stand what they did with the front of an old Camaro plastered onto a new one. I wonder if it would be different if I owned and old GTO and not a camaro?

+1 million Shoot as many guns as you can to get an idea of what YOU like. I have never found a glock that I like to shoot, but found the S&W M&P to be perfect for me. You could be completely opposite.

If its still in the wheel and you replaced the brake parts, have you checked the steering components? Also bearings would be another to check.

Being modded makes no difference. My car is completely stock and it did the same thing. There is no warning either. Go to start it and the valve sticks and the light comes on. Its scary but you just turn the car off and go get it fixed. The motor will be fine.

My Camaro was the one that just recently had the oil pump do the same thing. Freaked me out. Luckily I haven't modded the car and got it covered under warranty. Good luck with getting it fixed. Hopefully its a one time deal for us.

I assume that you are already on the big 5th gen camaro site. If not try that place for any used parts you might be looking for. There are a lot of members on there... and I can see a bunch demodding cars in order to pick up the 6th gen when it comes out.

I would be hard pressed to pick a 5th gen Camaro over a C6.... and I own one. Honestly I don't even notice the lack of visibility when driving on the road anymore. It just took a lot of time getting the side mirrors just right to see the blind spots. The only time it really is a pain is when I am backing out of a parking spot. There is a lot of slow going and wait for a horn to sound if I missed something. I like the newest version of it from the pictures. That blue is awesome. I cant wait to see one in person.

I was in there last week, they still dont do anything with converters.
