So when the starter button is pressed, does not turn over? Possible clutch switch, or not sure if that bike has a "kickstand" down switch that will not allow the bike to start with the kickstand down?

And some background, was everything functional, then a different tank installed and now it does not turn over?

is the fuel line connected and not crimped or something? its turning over just fine...if this just started after a gas tank swap, im inclined to say you forgot to hook up the fuel line or theres something blocking it.... its either not getting fuel or not getting spark....but its not a starter or battery

lol we?

what about the petcock? pull the fuel line off of the tank, open the petcock, and see if gas runs out of it

**edit...set the petcock to "prime", not on....didnt realize ninja 250 had vacuum operated petcock

Its turning over. Its just not starting. Did you prime the carbs? if your petcock has a PRI setting turn iton that for a bit and give it a go. Then set to on when it starts. If you dont have prime setting keep at it for a minute. You just meed to suck some fuel into the bowls so it can run. You hooked the vacuum line up from the petcock right?

The petcock is probably vacuum operated so youd need to suck on the vac line to get the petcock to flow. The prime setting bypasses that but im not 100% if the ninja 250 has a prime setting.

if youre pulling the fuel line off at the carb and cranking it, and no fuel is coming out....theres either a problem with the vacuum line or the petcock...pull the vacuum line off where it connects to the manifold, and make stuart suck on the end lol...if no gas comes out of the other fuel line, the petcock is bad
