... I've chickened out parting with it after someone came

to look at it and offered me 6.

 

.....that $6k offer is nearly DOUBLE trade-in.  You could

probably take the cash, buy another VFR and do the

same stuff and still be a grand ahead.....

Or you could add farkles to an FZ1 that you have

been wanting and be all smiles when spring gets

here.

The FZ will get your dick hard, but I'd be willing to bet the VFR is more comfortable and handles better.

I'm turning 30 in a few weeks. I might need all the help I can get at that advanced age :lol:

We got the house we wanted so the VFR has got to go. Is $5500 a more realistic number to get it sold? I personally think it's every bit worth it but not sure what the market is like

Ave price is $5090, for a bike in slightly more worn shape than yours. Yours is very cherry, so $5500 is fair. Just a note, the bike market seems somewhat soft.....

Good luck with this. Like I said before, seems like a very well set up bike and clean. With the appropriately motivated buyer, who knows?
