Casper
No worries, I'll just trickle charge it. This sucks.

motocat12
My car battery is hot to the touch after a drive. I plan to wrap it in a cheap windshield sunshade to see if it helps. Next time I have the seat off I'll check the moto battery too. No hills to push start? I got pretty good at running jump mounting my VTR to get it started. Edited September 7, 2015 by motocat12

dustinsn3485
Both terminals are good and tight?Sounds like it, but always worth a check. Edited September 7, 2015 by dustinsn3485
Casper
Both terminals are good and tight?Sounds like it, but always worth a check.Yup. I'm back home now. Trickle charge did the trick to get enough juice to fire. Definitely need a new battery. Sure glad I was able to hitch a ride home to get the trickle charger. Sat in the truck in the a/c while it charged. Woo.
Gump
I doubt trickle starting will work if the batt is junk. Did your headlights get bright when it did start? Edited September 7, 2015 by Gump
dustinsn3485
If you're gonna stick with traditional batteries. Check out motobatt.com they make an awesome battery, and have a 2 year warranty on all batteries I believe.
motocat12
I put a wps lithium in this summer. Left my ignition/lights on a for a few days after I went back in the house to look a diagnostic code up. Hooked jumpers up to my car battery not running and after 30 minutes it started and no problems since.
