NinjaNick
yeah its my first one i jope to have alot of fun and to learn alot[/quote:a5aa1] You will! They teach you alot! Ofcourse you did sign up for the beginner class right?P.S, they keyhole is a bitch! lol, you'll know what I mean. I think it's the 4th turn. HUGE right handed sweeper, you'll know what I mean. I found that one the hardest to pick a good line on, but by the end, I was getting that area much better and screaming down thunder alley. e-flores
yeah i know what you meen i go there to watch races at least 2 times a year. me and my dad are huge racing fans and we go there to hang out whenever we can. how hard is the elevation change on turn 7? thats the one i am worried about.and yes i did sign up for the beginers. NinjaNick
Turn 7 is AWESOME man. Elevation isn't too bad in my opinion, but it's there ofcourse. That is the turn because of the elevation it feels like you're riding on your sidewalls because your down so low..lol You'll enjoy it.You outta see the American LeMans racing series there. They are amazing to watch go around the turns. Definately faster than the bikes in the turns, they RAIL.
NinjaNick
Oh the corner speed you can hold is soooooooo much more than the street. I just wish I was rich so I can go to every trackday. I think the shit is WAY overpriced.
e-flores
yeah i have been to three of the alms races there. the first one i went to was awsome b/c they were not running the euro. lemans, so the only lemans series was the american one, and there were soooo many entries the track was full the whole time.yeah i think it is a little to expinsive as well, but what can you do???you know you want to go so you cant help but to pay for it. a perfect example of suply and demand. Only problem is, most of them can't race worth shit...lol
e-flores
true very true. i race go karts and it is sad to see how many amizing drivers get passed up every year by the big guys b/c they dont have the money to support themselves in the next level. i raced with a kid who did the red bull driver search and he went as far as doing test for the old f3000 races(now gp-2) in spain and portugal. and now he cant even get a ride in the star mazda series. so so sad. NinjaNick
So how was your trackday e-flores? Spill some info.
e-flores
it was great. i got my knee down for the first time and they did a great job of organizing the event. i ended up with 2 hours of on track time and another hour or hour and a half of classroom time. i had no complaints what so ever. actually the only thing that made me sad was the fact that i was super afraid of dropping the bike and i didnt want to push it to crazy hard. so i didnt get to see my "true" limit. i really want a crappy bike now that i can just use for the track. but i need the denero. or i need to win the lotto. i think i would be more content with just wining the lotto.
