Popular Post NinjaDoc
Second major ride in feejer, and decided to go 2 up. Last Friday since the weather was gorgeous and seeing the wide comfortable rear seat on the feejer, wife expressed her wish to join me for a short ride. Now she hasn't done that after we became parents. To be clear I am still talking about motorcycle riding. And so we scrambled to finish work earlier and off we went for a short 250ish mileloop. She thoroughly enjoyed the ride, the day was beautiful. Never needed extra breaks (hence less pics) and was able to cover many miles in short time and get home before Jr woke up from his ziesta. Handling of the bike was miles better than my first day with a run flat tire. Still need many more hundred miles on it. The suspension changes I made I wonder if it was worth it. I will never know since I went ahead and upgraded everything in winter itself thinking why have down time during our short riding season. Plus I was bored. Any ways here are some pics and a clean ride video with pure sound No tail on fire riding since we are 2 up but still some fun clips. Video: Surprisingly great chicken fries from a gas station. I always get it from there and make an excuse to stop here for fuel. Marathon 152/43 Of course the day finishes with a wash and got some extra little help Edited April 17, 2017 by NinjaDoc
durk
I appreciate that you made it a whole family event by having the little guy wash the bike after you and the wife went for a ride.
2talltim
NICE Doc!! I'm trying to get the wife on the Connie with me this year. She has her own bike and likes to ride but I'd like to take her out too for a few spins. We have always had to ride separate bikes because we were just flat out too heavy to two up before. But with loosing 185lbs between the both of us we would now be able to do it this year. Edited April 17, 2017 by 2talltim

Wolfman1
Nice video footage Doc, me and the mrs are trying to get more seat time together as well. We used to go everywhere on the bike when we were first married, then the little ones came and that all went out the window. Now the kids are getting older and we are starting to get back in the saddle together, talking about longer rides and potential future trips. Nice to see you incorporated the little one into cleaning duty for pops!

Thats an impressive feat, and sharing a mototrip together will be the best way to reward yourself. I strongly recommend being connected via intercom which really enhances the experience as well as boost the safety factor. Also makes travel on two wheel way more easier together. No more crappy hand signals. 13 hours ago, JustinNck1 said: Nice video Doc! thanks J, wish i was living where u live. then i dont have to waste time editing out so much boring long sessions. 11 hours ago, Wolfman1 said: Nice video footage Doc, me and the mrs are trying to get more seat time together as well.
