Guest stvbreal
Not too bad. They had an Evo there yesterday that put down 575AWHP. Nasty ! ! Before and after. Not the pretiest curve. http://home.columbus.rr.com/idkimagez/dyno.jpg [ 04. September 2004, 02:39 PM: Message edited by: EvilEvo ]
zeitgeist57
Nice numbers! You'd kick my ass! smile.gif Damn...think about it. If you told hot-rod guys back in the 60s and (gasp!) 70s that within 30 years people would be driving 340hp daily drivers, they'd shat their pants! God bless technology!!!11!! Guest Harris92
There were a lot of people that had 340 horse daily drivers back in the 60's. People drove GTO's and hemis every day and a hemi had 425 horsepower.
Mr. Jones
I hope what Clay meant was that they'd be amazed if you told them people would be driving 340+ HP Daily Driven 2.0l 4 Bangers..
Guest stvbreal
Reminder: The Evo was dyno'd today in Denver/Parker. 82 degrees, elevation 5,000+ feet, 91 octane. [ 04. Guest glhsken
Nice #'s... Especially for the elevation. The cars of the 60's were gross #'s... 25-30% different from wheel #'s
Guest h23it
Half the displacement + Similar hp curves = sexy Nice dyno man, you'd rape anything I own.
Guest stvbreal
I was pretty impressed with the outcome. Looking around for a turbo kit now. Bigger injectors, fuel rail and ARP head studs and then we can turn up the boost a bit. 400+ is right around the corner. [ 04. Rally Red Evo
Do you know what AFR you were running?
Guest stvbreal
It doesn't show an exact number just a chart to measure it by. It looks like it starts out at at 13.4 and levels out at 3500 RPM to 11-11.2.

Guest stvbreal
I would go but being in Colorado kind of puts a damper on things. I hope to be back sometime soon.

Mike C
Just curious, have you had your car to the dragstrip yet?
Guest stvbreal
Thanks. Haven't taken it to the dragstrip yet. I might need to upgrade my clutch before going. I'm still on the stock clutch, obviously, and it wouldn't last too long at the strip, so I've heard. Still holding strong though.

Quicksand Jesus
Those are pretty kickass numbers. I'd guess that at that power level you would be in the mid to upper 12's. That's where I was when the Subaru was ~350. But.......then the trannies started to die....... So that's on the stock turbo also? It's awesome that you can make that much power with the stocker. Looks like it was leaning out a little with all that jumpy bumpy. Originally posted by EvilEvo: Thanks. Haven't taken it to the dragstrip yet. I might need to upgrade my clutch before going.
