What day is best to go to trails? wed or friday?

Doesn't matter much. You'll be lucky to get 3 runs in on either day.

Go to Marion. Not the best track, but you get in as many runs as you want, and you know what you will run on the street.

I go Fridays.

 

Wednesday is the bracket racing, and you only get 1 time trial run. So if you have shitty luck like I do at bracket racing and never get past the first round, you only get 2 runs.

 

Friday is Test & Tune/Street Night and you will get more runs. Not alot more, but you won't get eliminated. I reccomend Friday nights.

Yes they do. Last time I was at NTR, they require a helmet with a Snell rating of 2000.

Marion is 1/4 but it is the closest thing to driving on the street you can get. Actually it is more like driving down a gravel county rd. Dodge the water spots and bumps and holes. smile.gif

They'll probably ask you what you think you'll run. If you really don't know, say a time that doesn't require anything extra, like a 14 or 15 sec run.

 

The first time I went to NTR, I told them I'll most likely be in the 14.0 range. First pass I made was a 13.3 and of course, that ended up being my last pass of the day.

 

That was about 3 years ago.
