since my wreck early last month not being able to ride killed me. i got so frustrated with my bike i said screw it and bought a harley. the harley is nice but i want my bike back. so last night for the first time i actually started to diagnose things. when my bike came down it cracked the stator cover on the left hand side. now if i remember right like on all my other bikes your stator is supposed to be dry. this is were oil leaks out of mine. i went put more oil in it and it just ran out of the hole in the cover. where could this oil be coming from and why.

If you are talking about the 97 GSXR-750 in your sig, the stator is WET. I don't think there are many sport bikes these days that are dry.

Ya....it's WET! Only $46 bucks, what else do you need???

For more info on your bike see--> http://www.ronayers.com/fiche/frames.cfm?man=su&groupid=5740&parent=5600
