Doug1647545489
I finally got some pictures of my graduation/getting a real job present to myself. Only accessories I added was stainless doors sills and rear lip spoiler. It's my first brand new car that I've bought by myself. I've already ordered short shifter and TRD springs/Struts. I plan to do some autocrossing with it next year. No other mods will be done. Maybe sway bars but I don't want to touch the engine. In fact I haven't even popped the hood yet. It's really slow, but good on gas and has a shit ton of standard equipment. I hope to get the supra project going again in the spring. http://myspace-190.vo.llnwd.net/01504/09/13/1504723190_l.jpg http://myspace-117.vo.llnwd.net/01504/71/19/1504889117_l.jpg

Doug1647545489
hell yeah, gas savers FTW. 40 mpg on the highway here. how much are those TC's getting? Not as great as you would think. I averaged 33 mpg on the way to C-bus Friday. Around town my driving style wastes a lot of fuel Gas prices weren't really a factor in my decision to buy it. I was looking for the most car for the money and the Scion offers a lot for under 20 grand. I also looked at the new civic, GTI (nice!), mazda 3 and looked into leasing a luxury car like a 3 series, A4, C230 but my commute sucks up to many miles. I'm glad I bought in the end instead of leasing.

HotCarl
Nice i thought about getting one before i bought my jetta. Price and opportunity got me to switch. Even a year or two old those things are still dirt cheap and really nice for the price.

Nate1647545505
Nice Doug. What made you steer away from the GTI? hopefully its for your wife. Hopefully you'll grow up to understand a car doesn't make the man that drives it. You're still young, though.
Nitrousbird
Though it's nothing I'd ever be caught owning (I don't like economy cars), the tC is one of the cars I'd suggest for someone in the market for such an automobile. I've never driven one, but have sat in a couple, and they seem nice on the inside for the price.
zeitgeist57
Nice car, Doug! It's amazing how 4x4 that thing looks stock. Have fun with it!

yotaman88210
I have always liked these too. Some chick let me drive hers and I was very impressed for an all stock car. I had fun on 315 with it. Saw 120 decently fast and it stuck to the road pretty damn good too! Congrats man!
Doug1647545489
Same here. As far as the car goes. How do you like it thus far? Also congrats on the new whip! Still loving it. I need to get my springs and struts on and I'll probably make a hocking hills trip next spring.
