the pedals are weighted and directly linked to the rear sproket to keep the bike moving forward for a longer period of time. Also, the bearings used on those bikes, are the same ones that Trek used in it Y-8 Carbon bike, where you can spin the wheel 50mph, and everytime it stops, the valve stem is on the bottom becasue its the heaviest part of the rim. While all that helps, shes still amazing to balance like that. Great vid.
