After wrecking the Trans AM, I have done the unthinkable; i switched to a mustang. I picked up a clean 93 GT. And we just finishd powdercoating the wheels and the centers are getting done right now.

Good bye lsx.

As a former 5.slow owner (94 GT)...wow, what a downgrade. And I always thought my 94 was pathetic competition for the LT1 cars it sold against......

Did you bother to open up the motor at all? Heads, cam, intake, exhaust? Shit tons of power to be had for cheap, I wouldn't call them slow by any means with the above mods. A motor may be underpowered from the factory, especially in this case but those mods above will make a quick n/a 5 liter.

You had what, probably an exhaust? I bet I'm close.

How many miles was on that car? How much time and $ did you put in the car to keep it running? Did you lose money when you sold it? When was the last time your BIG BAD LT1 made it out of the garage?

you compare every mustang to what you had. your was one of the SLOWEST mustangs ever made heavy and made less power than a 89 gt

thats like me comparing every f body to the 82 z28 with the crossfire system, now would that be fair

God forbid I compare a 94 GT to a 94 Formula, stock for stock. Both cars I've owned. The GT was laughable in comparison, inside and out (and the GT was as loaded as they come, unlike my Formula).

GT was lowered, Cobra rims, intake, shifter, exhaust, timing bumped. It was fun enough I suppose, but if I hadn't gotten it cheap, I would have felt ripped off buying it over an LT1 car. Sorry to compare cars that are 100% direct competition.

One of the main reasons for the Fox is the fact I have loved these cars since the day I saw one. Not to mention i no longer have 450$ a month car payment and my ins went down 50 bucks a month. This car is a GT, not a wanna be ws6. The car only has 46k, minor bolt ons and is a 5 speed. I am getting i cleaned up and am looking to play with it. The car runs strong.

That and how could i deny that mustang sound.

The current mods are bbk fender mount, shortys,h-pipe, flowmasters, sub frames, up and lower control arms, centerforce dual, pro 5.0, 3.73 in the rear.

Dont get me wrong the trans am was nice, but i couldnt really play with it and after the ins. money its paid off.

i should have pics and be out this weekend.
