11.33 @ 122, 1.8 60' for me

10.94 @ 123, 1.7 60' with Sam driving

The day was spent fighting traction, then as the day got warm, fighting the air because my front-mount has no air-flow yet (long story from the week). I was running a "hot air" car and blowing oil too. I just got off the phone and found out my other funny noise is compressor surge.

It doesn't matter, I had a great time and can't wait until the spring event :)

This is my best ET for today but that MPH is screwed up.

12.143 @ 109.56 1.723

That was from the right lane first thing in the morning. I did 2 more early runs on the right side and all 3 have 109.xx instead of 113.xx for similar runs on the left.

I did get my 4 best 60's with this car today.

1.8 60ft

13.52 1/4

103 ET

I was owned by traction and wheel hop! None are from the same slip. Lost traction everytime my car shifted.

DR's FTW. Nice 13.5 though, Very hard to do with a stock 04 on street tires.

My car was a whore .

Amy's Best time

14.3

Spln's best

13.6

Linn's best time in the WRX

13.51 @ 98.x

Colt's Best

13.6

linn had beat the piss out of my times in the morning (I was getting 13.6's-13.7's)

I spent the day letting linn drive a bunch of passes trying to best that time because we were damn sure it had a 13.3 pass in it. the power was there it was ether bad launch or 4th gear.

In the afternoon after dealing with the heat (pulled timing) I retuned the car and ran some passes of my own again.

13.6 First LAP

13.5 Second Lap

1.8 60' 13.491@99.03 Third lap and I was hotlapping my intercooler was on fire but I finally figured out how to shift the 3rd gear. A full 3tenths faster then last time.

My best 60 was a 1.59

My fav was Colt Boostin . He lost 20$ to me as he did not get the 13.5 he expected in my car.

Best timeslip:

R/T - .118

60' - 1.954

330 - 4.925

1/8 - 7.313

MPH - 102.58

1000 - 9.397

1/4 - 11.178

MPH - 126.03

I was having launch issues ALL day...I made 22 passes and my best 60' was a 1.8x. I guess that is to be expected for my first time drag racing the bike.

My uncle jumped on and took two passes; his best being:

R/T - .282

60' - 1.846

330 - 4.646

1/8th - 6.933

MPH - 107.79

1000 - 8.936

1/4 - 10.636

MPH - 132.15

There is about a 70lb difference in ridder weight, and about 30 years of ridding time. I feel like I faired pretty damn well to be honest.

My highest trap speed of the day was 128.9mph, so if I can learn to launch the bike hard without bogging I feel 10's should not be too much of a problem.

I also beat Mike's best time and MPH so I'm happy.

20 years. Heck 10 years ago.. I went to a ton of f-body events from 97-99 and if you were running 12's, you were FLYING.

Jason
