V8 Beast Posted October 19, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 19, 2007 Its not the hemi valve, I dont think my trunk latch was properly calibrated John, they said it usually happens after years of racing.... So basically they cant explain it. I had him put an even stronger drum in it just to be safe. Hopefully this one holds up. Edit: I forgot to add that shift pressure and what not was right. I just thought that if thats what was wrong with the trans you brought him. He would have wanted to talk to you about using it in the rebuild. Are you sure the core you brought him had that issue? Ok. I had him put it in there this time so I'm cool. The tranny I sent him didnt have 1st, second, or third gear (dont ask). He basically had to build it from scratch.
