coltboostin
I have a guy that wants to trade me a 81 Camaro for the BMW, I have the BMW up for $2300 for reference. Its a Supposed Z28, but it does not seem to have the Z28 aero. 350, 4bl carb, turbo 400. Minimal rust, interior is OK, not much attention to details in the engine bay. Im not a huge fan of the front end, and have not found ONE freakin pick of one I think looks "hot". Dumped, wheesl..ect. Whats your guys' take? wnaplay1647545503
The only 80's model camaro I have ever seen a picture of I liked. The rest all seem to have been beaten with an ugly stick. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/1980_Chevrolet_Camaro-01.jpg

wnaplay1647545503
Isn't that a '70 1/2? You might be right, all of them from that era have that goofy look.

FormulaMatt
I had a 79 that was built some. I got my 1998 Ram and 5000 cash for mine. You can probably search and still find my old listing, for reference.
gillbot
I nearly bought an '81 for $700. You really need to research it to find the value as it can vary greatly.

coltboostin
I stand corrected. I would have to swap frontends:p They have that front end up to 77. I like it MUCH better than this 81. For example of what I would do with it- http://cache.jalopnik.com/assets/resources/2008/03/F-Bomb.jpg

Can anyone tell if its a real Z from the vin? I think you would need the build codes. Check out nastyz28.com for some info...I forget how we found out on mine but I think it had something to do with the console or trunk or something....Mine did not have the lower spoiler either, but it was a Z28...they came with them from the factory but like mine, someone may have taken them off that one you are looking at. Sorry I cant be more help. Its been too long and Ive slept since then....
gillbot
Was it a running V8 car? Yes it was, 350/TH400 with some minor mods too. It was in pretty good shape, typical paint and such. Check out http://www.nastyz28.com/index.php?page=sitenavigation for 2nd gen info.
coltboostin
Checking the vin (thanks for the link with the info) it looks to be a V6 car. (k in the 8th digit) So, is it safe to assume its not a real Z28?
TimTaylor751647545500
Definitely not a Z if it was a V6 car.
