I haven't mentioned... The MR2 has 180K miles on the chassis. Still drives like it's on rails and you wouldn't know it until you looked at the odometer. The WRX only has 77K miles on it. The other downside to the MR2 is the blue interior, which I am not a fan of...

Don't get me wrong, I love the MR2 it is a beast for what it is and has always been one of my all time favorite cars--and if I do trade it will be missed. I appreciate the responses, as I am still thinking it out...

The WRX looks good. Though I question the wisdom of a manual boost control and an atmospheric blow off valve. The ECU is more than capable of controlling the stock turbo, and the BOV will make it go super-rich between shifts which can clog the cats, make it stumble, and cover the rear bumper in soot.

I thought the GFB BOV could be set to recirc ? I was thinking of going to that, or the Forge soon.

Depends on which version and how it's set up. Considering the owner installed a MBC to run a paltry 15psi, I'm thinking it'll probably be set up for atmospheric dump.

Nice Subaru - although I will ALWAYS love MR2's above many other cars. Rare to see them on the road, much less well-built for speed like that.

Agreed. Hell, I question the logic of anyone who put that much money into the car and is still running a MBC.

I LOVE driving my friends WRX. It's an 01 or 02 I think but they are just a really nice ride.

Only suggestion would be to drop it a bit. I'm used to sitting real low in cars, and since you are going from an MR2 to that you will probably want to drop it a bit.

Nice trade I would say.

Edit- My friends is stock.
