MrMeanGreen
I'm posting from here. Drunk people abound, the Silverado has a front, reserved space at the hotel, I'm tired. I hear water.

MrMeanGreen
No, I was just really, really exhausted. Anyways, I'm on the Canada side (first time to Canada) and my hotel is a few minutes walk from the Horseshoe Falls. Driving in Kmh is pretty strange, though. Nitrousbird
What hotel? I was there in Oct. 07, and for my wedding in Sept. 6th last year. Both times we have stayed at Sheraton on the Falls, with a Falls View room. Nice room, awesome view...eye level with the Fireworks on Friday nights. I love that area. You are there at a bad time; spring thru fall is the best. See if you can take a tour through any of the vineyards.
MrMeanGreen
Holiday Inn. Suite, balcony, heart-shaped jacuzzi with overhead shower thing, nice amenities. Free, all of it. I'm leaving for Rochester in a little bit, but I wanted to stop here on the way.
evan9381
what did you need to get in/out of canada? i/d, passport, birth certificate?
Nitrousbird
what did you need to get in/out of canada? i/d, passport, birth certificate? To fly or by boat, you must have a passport. If you drive, I think you can still get away with just a birth certificate, but that is supposed to be changing soon to require a passport. MrMeanGreen
The gf and I took a ton of pics. June 1st, 2009 is when a passport is required for land entry. I had my military ID and military birth certificate, and still got grilled coming back into the US. Posting from Dennys, BTW Damn the Columbus restaurants for being gone

Illegal in the great white north. They love to take them from you too. Worked there for two years and never lost one, but you can see the cops in traffic come up on you if they detect or see you with anything suspicious . MrMeanGreen
Lol. I had it in the windshield the whole time, I didn't know they were illegal.
