Guest Hal
The Para thread got me thinking, what is your 1911 of choice and why?
Jelloman4571647545499
springfield TRP- Previously owned one and loved it. Other than that shot a wilson and it was very nice too. But I would gladly buy another one if I could find one for a good price.
evan9381
only shot my buddies springfield, but i like the feel of the kimber ultra carry 2 and the paras were nice and compact. looked great too
RedRocket1647545505
Depends on what I'm using it for. If I was carrying one into the field, I'd probably go for a loose fitting base model Springer. For entry-level match grade, I'd take my DW. For a high end custom, well, I'd have to seriously think about who I'd want to build it. There's a bunch of choices there.

Interesting point, I should have specified. What is your favorite 1911 that you would carry daily if desired? Things change a ton when you go custom or into a match grade pistol. stolen 5.0
hi-point ftw. j/k i'd have to go with the springfield TRP of the weapons i've shot.
John Bruh
I havent shot a ton of 1911, but i love my kimber the best so far.
twistedfocus1647545489
Off the shelf, maybe a nice Wilson or Kimber... But if custom guns count, something hand-fitted from Cylinder & Slide based on Caspian parts. I have handled/shot a couple of their $2k+ guns and they're simply a cut above any other gun I have messed with.

RangerTurbo
I only have one, an STI Spartan. Picked it up cheap with a group buy out here in Utah. I have, and occasionally do carry it.
HAOLE
I like the kimber 1911, it was very smooth compared to other 1911's I have shot.
