My New Bike

Recommended Posts

Some might have seen this in my other Thread... but here it is again :D

Yesterday I piked up an '08 Sportster 1200N. This morning I put on a set of Forward Controls, and I fit MUCH better on the bike now.

So far, the bike is gonna be staying pretty much as it sits. The only 2 things that are a possibility for replacement are the Grips and the Saddle. Both of those will depend on their comfort after I get a few miles of seat time.

I am diggin the classic colors of this, and don't really want to change that, nor do I want to Chrome it out.

Here are some quick Pics:

Not what I was expecting, but damn that looks good! I never get excited about a Harley, but that one looks awesome.

+1, there's one just like that running around my neighborhood, but its blacked out, fuckin tits everytime i see it, what do those run, quarter or on the wallet?

New, they sticker at $9,899. Used, it varies. I got this one out the Door, with 2 Years Extended Warranty, the few mods it had, and then the Forward Controls, for a bit less than a new one stickers for. The good thing, these are all Mods I would have wanted to do myself :D

Looks great. I'm a big fan of the Street Bob, so I'm liking this one as well.

I was really diggin the Iron 883. It is basically the same bike, except the whole engine / trans is blacked out. But, the price to bring it up to the performance level of the Nightster would be about $4-5K, and the bike alone would have cost what I paid!!

What all functions does the single gauge perform?

Speedo  It also has a Check Engine Light on it. Below it there are indicators for Turn Signals, Neutral, Oil, and something else (I don't remember).

A Tach would be nice....
