zeitgeist57
I went to the Opener last Saturday. Not a bad seat in the house, location is great...I love it. A big two :thumbup: thumbs up to everyone that made Huntington Park a reality. Great asset for downtown Columbus. If you haven't been to a game and like baseball even a little but, you'll have a great time.
DaddyBuiltRacing
I went Monday for dime a dog night. My only complaint is the lack of concessions selling hotdogs. The old park had 20x damn concessions, this one had 2 selling hotdogs. Other then that its an amazing ballpark, especially for Minor Leagues
Fiji ST
I'll be down there tomorrow night. Drove by there the other day. It's a really nice looking stadium.

Akula
Huntington's name is on the park, but since they are losing money left and right, i am not sure why.

65belairpost
I want to go but Im waiting it out til the newness factor wears off a bit and traffic slows a bit. Probably because of the hockey game...but there was only about 2,000 people there last night..

Kinda like Citi ballpark for the Mets? I'm not a huge baseball fan but i do like to catch a real game in person and having a ballpark downtown will be pretty nice, cant wait to catch a game. zeitgeist57
I think Huntington paid $12MM for the naming rights to the stadium for 25 years. I thought at the time (when economy was good) that they should only be so lucky to see the expiration of that contract!
nyall86
Try to surf porn on their public wireless... I bet you get a message from saying the sonicwall blocked you haha. My company configured the device for that location. So no hotmilfs.com for anyone while surfing the web during a game

evan9381
anyone go last night and see both the dugouts clear out in the 1st after the clippers launched that 3 run HR? i was looking away figuring he was rounding the bases and didnt catch what sparked it...did he say something to the pitcher coming around 3rd? good time though...sucked because we got to the ticket booth line at like 6:20, and after 10 minutes, all seats were sold out, so it was standing room only...the seats werent even full...we ended up snagging 4 seats at the start of the 8th. Trouble Maker
Went down to the north market yesterday for some food and drink. We hadn't seen it yet so we drove past. Gorgeous little ballpark, I can't want to go to a game.

Genius to build it that small imho. Better to sell out a few thousand seats than to have a 10kseat place only fill up 1/5 of the way. After a few months, I bet it's easier to get tickets. Anyone know how big it is? I was really surprised that it wasn't bigger.
evan9381
i thought i heard it seated 11k? the seats were probably filled up 80-85% to capacity, from my eyeball estimate. then there were probably a few thousand more people around the park standing

Looked more like a few thousand to me, but just drove around it and peered inside.
