Guest tbutera2112
ok im sure to a lot of you this is going to sound completely dumb....but i figure ill ask anyways how do i get the front wheel off? it looks like i just undo the brakes, and then that other line that runs down there and then the axle bolt...but i really dont know...how do i undo the brakes etc? http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i82/SaleenSS90/0523090905a.jpg rear shocks adjust 1-4....what does that mean, and which should i use? http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i82/SaleenSS90/0523090905.jpg
SPL_Josh
usually to remove the wheel you just have your axle bolt and 4 bolts to tighten and make sure the axle doesnt loosen. You shouldn't have to remove the caliper. Your rear shock is probably just a stiffness/rebound adjustment

SPL_Josh
your bike looks like it only has 1 bolt to hold the axle tight. Those bolts are there so your wheels doesnt fall off lol... On your first pic in the second post lossen that smaller bolt on the front then take out the axle bolt. That should be it. Your wheel and rotor should just pull out of the caliper
Guest tbutera2112
cool thanks man.... the bike is on the center stand, but it leans to the front without someone sitting on the back of it...i need to pull the wheel to get the fender on it, is there a trick to doing all of this so it doesnt fall forward on its face? should i just have my gf sit on it and lean back against the sissy bar while im doing it? ponyjr1647545514
use a tie down to hold the back of the bike down or put a jack under the front of the frame to hold it up. let me know if you still need help with this tomorrow. I can come over after work and help.
