Congrats Daddy! I know its been a long road with that car-first time int he 10's? I assume this was not at the 7xx whp correct?

 

 

Team GTR, great work. Mods for both of you? After getting walked this weekend by my boy in his GTR, I am sniffing that market. Still not convinced that I can have a DD with 2 doors though.

I was beyond full weight. I still think if I tug some weight out, have a favorable DA (<500), and the right track prep, I MIGHT be able to touch a 9.

 

After getting walked this weekend by my boy in his GTR, I am sniffing that market. Still not convinced that I can have a DD with 2 doors though.

134mph is impressive on stock turbos. Are the 13 up tubors bigger than the 09's?

Thanks, yes it has and yup first time. No it was not on full blast, we was hoping to just get the car to go round. Had an even better pass in the works but lost it due to a check engine light coming on and killing power. We're still tinkering around with the boost by gear settings, trying to find it's sweet spots. I've fought with it this long, I will continue battling it until I get it where I want haha.

Had to settle for 2nd.

 

The car I was facing in the finals was a full build. Built motor, trans, upgraded turbo car. He was well into the 9s. His worst pass vs my best, he was still 3 tenths quicker....

 

On the pro tree, he was cutting .3 - .4 reactions, so I knew I needed a PERFECT light to win.

 

I ended up red lighting ( by 9 thousands of a second). Tried what I had to do, and just missed it by a smidge. As is racing, lol.
