Sweet Ferrari I saw at work today.

I work nights at Tavern42 in Delaware and some pretty nice cars roll on through. Snapped a few pics of this one.

It's a run in the mill Ferrari ...am I missing something?

Yes, you're missing the idiom.

Run of the mill: Ordinary, average, as in "It's a run of the mill Ferrari." The expression alludes to fabrics coming directly from a mill without having been sorted or inspected for quality.

Nevermind.....not the same car as I was thinking. The dude I know has yellow calipers. He also drives an S8 though making his choice in cars pretty sweet :) You'll see a nicer version of this one outside the Belmont Building downtown. The S is black.

LOL, The other one that bothers me is "I could care less." It is supposed to be "I couldn't care less."

I disagree, its just when people say "I could care less" they don't put enough sarcastic emphasis on the word "could", as in:

" I could care less ... "

Almost as if stating, " hmmm, well I suppose its possible that I could care less ... I just don't."

Or at least that's how I've always used it.

By the way, never heard of a "run of the mill Ferrari". Any Ferrari is noteworthy in my eyes, maybe it's just me. Nice pics, love it.

They both actually work. ;)

It's "I couldn't care less" because you are trying to say that you don't care at all, and that there is no possible way to care any less. If you are saying "I could care less", then you're saying that you're level of not caring has not reached it's fullest yet, and that just doesn't make any sense to say.

Thank you.
