Haven't looked at these in a while. Thanks for the reminder. Think I'll go elsewhere for a little more size but thanks for the idea nonetheless. Currently have a 150GB WD Raptor (10,000rpm) as my boot drive on my desktop but I think I can get by with about one of the 80GB Intel SSD's.

I got a 10k raptor on my desktop and a Intel SSD in my Dell Adamo. SSD is well worth it imo

i've read you shouldn't use drive compression on SSD's.

i'm not using it on mine, you have any different insight Bill?

TRIM is necessary for SSDs, stay away from ones who dont if you can.
