If you have a 6 liter or larger yes, but still maybe use 1 3/4"s depending on useage. The mid range power suffers on the smaller cubic inch motors with the larger headers.

 

But any LS3 and newer do not even bother with 1 3/4's.

Crush bent pipe and a 90 degree joint don't make it good just becousr 95% of people use it. Hell alot of ford guys run MAC but that shit is junk too
