I'd like to know if it extends beyond "innocent until proven guilty" Because news outlets should be there to cover the NEWS, not their opinions or feelings. Like anti government, anti immigration type group. Just crazy how young he is, and they are looking for that other guy that they think may have been standing with him in the security footage. They are guessing he is 40 something, but they don't know for sure. Seems that Gliffords may be doing "ok", watching the news conf. now with the doctors on Fox. The reports of him being socially odd, inclined to saying nonsensical things in class, anti-government slants, and writing things on his MySpace wall that don't make much sense all fit with the profile of psychosis. The young age does too: males that have schizophrenia tend to have an insidious onset to the disorder (i.e., it develops slowly throughout several years of their adolescence) and they usually have their first truly psychotic episode in their early 20s. Also, on that same special, they said that the one group who sometimes protests at the funeral's of soldiers are expected to protest at several of the funerals of the victims of the shooting. I was tearing up just thinking about this while reading, and it's not my kid, I can't imagine anything worse. I'd rather be tortured, beaten, raped, shot, stabbed, poisoned, sickened, burned, anything, than to lose a child, especially an older one. I hope/wish to never have to experience it. I can see them showing up and protesting at that kids funera. They seem to prefer the high profile events and the publicity that it generates. The "leader" has 13 kids; 11 of which are lawyers so in a sense he has free representation. I'm curious to see how the Supreme Court sides when their case is heard. Seriously? its the Westboro Church pretty much made up of Phelps and his family. They are always doing something even if the news doesn't think it is a big deal. Recently a veteran was arrested for watching them. He was questioned and told the police he was their security, when they called them to verify the members of the church had never heard of him.
