I told him I would have painted it years ago, but he didn't want to. So now he wants it done. I told him I was taking parts off his other 200sx and using them. I refused to paint that car and keep that wing on it! So just in case people missed it, that 200sx is not mine. My cars may be slower, but at least I am not embarrassed to be seen in them. I rarely got to drive it since something was always going wrong with it. So as much as I love BMW, I went looking for a RX-8. I found a Shinka RX-8 but was having trouble with financing. So I had a mishap with a trip home on 270 in my Saturn. Guy pulled in front of me doing 40mph while I was doing 70mph, and had to downshift hard since brakes sucked, and heard a pop from engine. I have lost a lot of compression. Made it home and started driving bimmer only to have the fuel pump die again. After some tests, I found it cavitated and got so hot within seconds, that it could have ignited the fuel in tank. Found fuel tank was not the right one since a factory pump wouldn't fit in it. So I needed a car badly, and dragged BMW to dealer that would actually do shit for me that had a car that I didn't mind, and got a Cruze. I was done dealing with constant repairs on BMW and the fact it was basically a bomb for a while freaked me out. And I edited first post since everyone is not seeing what I typed. That 200sx is not mine! It is a friends car that I am doing the work for. I am repainting it that Calypso Red Pearl, factory BMW color, so the car can be sold. I got the same price to be in the field as going in, so why not? Better parking spot! When I fix the suspension and do the rear disc swap, I will get it cleaned up. LMAO!! I figured there would be a thread about that car. My friend is not good with buying cars. He thought someone would love to have it because the engine and, do I say it, paint job. All the kids around the neighborhood flocked to my house when it sat outside and wanted it. Since then, I get kids driving by my house in their POS cars making a shit ton of noise bothering me.
