My new Solstice GXP

I'm probably in the minority, but I think 98% of mesh grilles look like complete ass. Black might look ok, but otherwise it looks like gutter guard or chicken wire.

Factory grilles ftw

That is probably because so many people do it half-ass. RaceMesh is expensive for a reason. Even their plain, un=polished SS looks better than any other mesh I've seen because they fit it so well and include a nice edge.

Inside Line ripped this car a new one recently on it's 100 worst cars list. Personally, I don't think it deserves that. I kinda like the cars though I've never driven one.

Given their comments on many of the cars they listed, Edmunds editors never spent time in them.

That is talking about the regular one. It said under powerd, which the gxp is certainly not.

With that said, it was a rather large exterior, small interior pontiac so all the domestic interior complaints were applicable to the solstice as well. As far as small trunk, storage, etc, who cares, you don't buy a tiny con ertible for space.

Car and driver and the other mags had good things to say, and you can't argue with the power and tuning potential for such a small rwd manual car.

Agreed as the aztec always got rave reviews for its interior space, functionality and practicality, of couse only after they got done with the exterior comments.

I would own multiple cars on that list and kind of already do. A lot of cars don't make since for their practicality but those are also some off the best cars.

Those are the worst inconsistant lists, cars that don't belong on either, with other models making the best when they are on the worst. Fucking worthless info right there :dumb:

He sits a little more upright then he usually does, I've driven it, I'm 5' 10", and its about all the way back for me. If I get in his Trans Am I have to move the seat forward a couple clicks, but his Solstice doesn't need moved for me, if that makes sense.

I think so. Sounds like he sits more upright to help shorten his legs when in the Solstice and when in the Trans-Am, he can recline and sit in a more comfortable position thus extending his legs which causes him to move the seat further back. That's how I interpret it and experience since I recline in my Saab so I have headroom.

That's a pity since I fit just fine in the new Miata with the top up.

That sounds right, I haven't sat in the newest Miata body style so I don't know but my 2004 Miata is only slightly smaller then the Solstice.
