I dont know all the rules/laws, but i thought you couldnt have a butt stock on the AR "Pistol". Looks awesome though.

Unless he isn't following the rules it's a NFA gun. And if he isn't following the rules I really would think someone wouldn't be as stupid to post pictures of it on the internet but you never know.

 

NFA grants you access to SBR's (Short barreled rifles), shorter shotguns, suppressors, full-auto, etc.

Yes of course I have a SBR tax stamp. And this isn't a pistol with an added stock.

 

Shooting characteristics: we haven't shot any farther than 300 yds. with it. Up to that distance it shoots the same as a 16 inch barrel.

This weapon is great as an entry gun at 22.5 inches long. Easy to manuever also.

 

Got about 2500 rds thru it already. No issues

What LMT bolt did you have in it? I thought I read about the Non-Enhanced LMT bolt having issues cycling on SBR rifles. Just wondering if this is true as I have my lower and upper coming in this week which I plan on doing a SBR with.

 

I have never heard of that issue before. LMT non-enhanced bolts are just like your bolts in any other AR. Colt, DD, Spikes. The Enhanced carrier is not recommended for any ar15 that has a barrel shorter than 14.5 inches according to LMT. But then, people play around with different buffers and fixes the problem.

I think I got it all mixed up. People having trouble using the enhanced on their SBR but I guess they have gotten it worked out.

 

I got my Mega Billet upper/ lower ambi combo which will go toward my SBR in 9mm or 5.56. It'll go well next to my Mega forged.

My latest purchase. A Tristar TEC-12. Can shoot in Pump or Semi auto. Just need to wait untill someone figures out how to put a mag-extension on this one, they have allready figured it out on the Semi's. Figured it would be fun to shoot

More I look at it, more it looks like you modify it just like they do on their Cobras. Just cut the exsisting rolled lip out and screw on an extension. Im still not going to be the first to try, Ill wait for someone else to do it first :)

Picked up a Norinco SKS today. OD Green, came with a 20 and a 30 round magazine. UTG Red/green dot scope, tactical flash light. appx 200 rounds of ammo, soft and hard case.

 

Time to find some parts to buy for it..
