I am staying in Columbus on friday night, so I could make this... let me read the details...

...Yes, staying near the Easton Mall, so should def be able to make it, before heading back home.

On that note, good places for dinner on friday night? I ate at some Tapas place last time that was delicious.

if you wouldnt mind driving a little out of the way, the Worthington inn has great food.

Saturday morning cruise from Easton (or Polaris) to C&C?

That's a great idea!!! That could be a regular thing...cruise departing Easton every Saturday at 8:30am...I could put it on the site...

Sorta seems like an extra step, but I am down for it. Where at Easton would you like to try meeting up?

Thanks, Ryan!

Site is updated with cruise info from Easton.

I've been a weather nut all my life...this is a weak disturbance of unstable air over us. It's creeping to the east. I'll bet Friday will be dicey but Saturday will be fine, especially in the morning.

Cheesecake Factory

Bar Louie

Never been to either steak place there, so I can't comment on those.

Meh, only had appetizers and deserts at Bar Louie... they were decedent enough, but nothing to write home about. I'd go there for drinks and the scenery.

Cheescake factory. :thumbdown

Abuelo's is pretty good up there too.

PF Changs is good too but overpriced, imho.

But these are ALL chain type places so I can't really say I stand behind any recommendation 100% so far.

If you are willing to travel, to around downtown, then we can really talk. Lots of good local places closer to the heart of the city. :megusta:

EDIT: Looks like you guys beat me to that punch by a little bit.

Let us know what type of food you might like, and where you might be willing to or want to travel. There are way too many good choices to narrow it down.

Check out these sites. Also, let us know where you would like to go in the city and what type of food you want. Then we can narrow it down as there are way too many good choices to just suggest 1 or 2 'best' places.

The Refectoryis good, but relatively expensive. I'm sure you can check out the menu online to get an idea. Also, the food is not for everyone. I liked it, my partner didn't hate it, but she didn't love it either. If you like beer, stop in down the street and grab a beer at Winking Lizards. I don't think you have these in Cincy?

I'm just saying Winking Lizards since you are 2 blocks away if you are at the Refectory. We have a a few good breweries in town (Elevator, Columbus Brewing Company, Barley's), if you want to try some local beer.
