This is gonna sound super creepy, but I drove past your place today on my way to Polaris and saw you mowing your lawn. I've always loved your house/ front porch. Wish this didn't sound creepy, but it will. Sorry Dave.

It does, but thanks nonetheless. LOL I so badly want to TT the diesel JD. Gotta keep the place looking good; we have 5 major additions in the works and property expansion happening soon.;)

Yeah dude you need a zero turn so bad. Your property is big enough and will take half the time. I'm sure if you turbo the john Deere it will cut as fast as a zero turn tho.

You said 1670 and then changed it to 1300 for your comparison. It's more like:

SV-MUCH > 1600whp - RWD - 3,250 - 3,300 pounds

-VS-

SL - 1500whp - AWD (meaningless since not racing 0-60 or 1/4 mile) - 3,503 pounds (assuming UGR kept it as light as Heffner).

Also don't forget that UGR dyno's all of their cars in RWD because they kept snapping front driveshafts in AWD and, because of this, have been desperately trying to have a certain company make them quick-disconnect ones. LOL

That's why they say "whp". they don't want to say what kind.

I changed it because that's what you said in the video posted when you were interviewed "1,600hp making around 1,300whp." That's why I asked, how much power will the car make?

How are you getting the car down to 3,300lbs with the added weight of the turbo kit? What other parts are you removing or replacing with lighter options?

The fact that you keep saying AWD is meaningless at that power level is... :lolguy:

You do realize that most cars making 1,300whp+ won't hook from less than a 90+ roll? Are you really going to be doing 100mph+ roll races just to have a chance?

You are also aware that UGR has made more than 1,600whp+ (Holt made 1,900whp) with the Gallardo's even in RWD configuration?

Completely depends on the situation. If that were a blanket true statement, Formula 1, Dragsters, ALMS, Indy Car, NASCAR, etc. have all missed the AWD boat. Therefore, there are obviously many disadvantages to AWD in certain applications. In high-speed runs, it mostly saps power, PARTICULARLY in Lambos terrible AWD system. The G isn't nearly as bad as the M, but it's no Haldex system either.

Only problem is none of that is relevant in a roll race scenario on the "street" where there is zero VHT or track prep...
