The_buster
So I decided to be productive on my day off and mow the grass.. ended up finding a yellow jacket nest near a stump I've mowed around all summer.. never showed up till now. Well I ended up getting stung 8 times, one got under my shirt and another under my hat. How can I get rid of them, the stump is about 5 feet from the front door. zeitgeist57
I had an in-ground Yellow Jacket nest last month. I had 3 bottles of citronella Tiki torch fuel lying around. Poured half a bottle down the hole one night. Still some flying activity the next day. Poured the rest in the second night. The second morning, no more yellow jackets. I was going to light it on fire, but the fuel seemed to do the trick on its own. F*ck Yellow Jackets.

Forrest Gump 9
WD40 worked for me. Spray the nest and you don't even have to use the lighter. Good luck.

TTQ B4U
Go to the garden center and see if there is any left. Contains a Neurotoxin that's highly poisonous to bees. Works great. Wait until dark, us a funnel fill the hole and pour a small mound on the next hole. As they dig out they will carry it back inside and thus killing the entire hive. http://images.lowes.com/product/converted/613499/613499070074lg.jpg

BrianZ06
I have a small hole in my ceder siding with a bunch of them coming in and out. I can not get to close. I tried the long reach spray and it does kill them but I only get a couple at a time.

TTQ B4U
Any tricks to finding the holes? Wear some shorts and jump up and down in the general area. Watch closely as they land on your legs and begin firing away on you as to where they are coming from. My guess is they are living in the tree stump. Look for a split or a crack in the stump. Then look towards the base as they may have made a nest under it.

YELLAJAKKETS HATE TAXES I think yellow jackets fall into some Obama protected group of socialistic equality that provides them tax free havens and food stamps so that they can feed off the food of others while enjoying summertime picnics with their family. Yellow jackets are part of that same 47%.
