BIGGU
Ill be honest, I know this isnt CR's normal cup o tea but I figured I would share what I have gotten to replace the SC300. I was looking for a classic car I could just have some have some fun cruising with and still have some fun with. The car is a 1988 Toyota Soarer which is fitting because it is the predecessor to my SC. In all essence its a MKIII supra with a different body on it. The engine is a 1G-GTEU, its a 2.0 Twin Turbo engine which is surprisingly fun. My main plans are just to get the period correct wheels for it and lower it down a bit. for an 88 its an amazing condition and to be exact, it is still Shaken for japan so it could go back and still be driven on the street which in japan is a very expensive thing to do when the car is this age. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/Soarer/DSC_0009_zps883204cb.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/Soarer/DSC_0002_zps09c96771.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/Soarer/DSC_0005_zps1a8ca8d7.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/Soarer/DSC_0006_zpsa33941d3.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/Soarer/DSC_0007_zps49ba3912.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/Soarer/DSC_0010_zps5a3d5142.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/Soarer/DSC_0012_zps7f76492d.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/Soarer/DSC_0008_zps22d0c56d.jpg

zeitgeist57
Looking forward to seeing NOT DOX fixed up right! Might I request deleting the 2001 F&F muffler? Do you even NEED a muffler with twin turbos muffling the exhaust? :grin2:
10phone2
mind blown and great pick up. Reminds of an offshoot of a infinity m30. How hard is it for those to be legal in the US?

BIGGU
Paul I would not expect any less from you but coming from a guy that only owns an accord I'm not sure if the comment is valid of not. As far as legality it's is legal to own due to the 25 year law. I purchased the car from Japanese classics Llc for multiple reasons but the most important one is they register all cars in Virginia before selling the car to prove it can be registered just fine and they register it as the vehicle that it is. Their cars are all federal and state legal. Wheels wise I think I'm going to find a set of these sterns http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p135/83restomod/stern.jpg
Rustlestiltskin
Looks like a foxbody mustang and an 80's Benz sl500 had a 3some with a Japanese lady and that body style was the result.
greg1647545532
It's a bit busy with all of the 80s excess, but man is that a sharp looking car.

SHIEF
Always liked the 80's looking jap cars. And that thing is cool. I like the wheel choice as well. Has a new law gone into effect making it easier to get something like this legally? The ricer left in me still likes these type of cars.
