Doug1647545489
Warranty is up so I took the plunge and bought an intake and tune for my car. Power is great!

zeitgeist57
That's the biggest air injection pump I've ever seen. Great to see you're doing everything you can to cut down on emissions! I remember a much younger Doug, talking at Carriage Place about a junkyard turbo install on his auto Grand Am...

LS_Sonoma
Can't go wrong with a Procharged Kona. What rwhp numbers are typical with your setup?
Doug1647545489
Can't go wrong with a Procharged Kona. What rwhp numbers are typical with your setup? 550ish right now. 600 with headers and boss manifold.
RC K9
How many PSI? Also, how well do the 5.0's hold up to boost? I know the Boss 302's had much better quality internals and I have wondered for the last few weeks how well the GT's will hold up when boosted, as I imagine the Boss would hold up better. Either way, the looks and sounds great.
Doug1647545489
About 7 psi right now. GTs are decent up to 650 whp. Anymore than that and you are probably on borrowed time. 600 whp is a fairly safe limit, which can be achieved at very low boost with turbo setups. Gergwheel1647545492
You might want to return that intake setup, seems to have a very loud whistle, almost a whine to it. VERY nice car, looks awesome
ImUrOBGYN
Very nice, man. I'm curious about the actual intake position though. Air is generally pulled out through the bonnet area in front of the windshield - the exact opposite of what you'd want. Not to mention temperatures at that spot. I would seriously be curious enough to measure intake temps there and to measure atmospheric pressure, as well. Two very easy to accomplish tasks even if you don't have help. Anyway, I'm completely going on what I see in the pics without any experience of that kit on a mustang. So, take it for what it is.
Doug1647545489
The heat rising off the headers is more of a concern but iat plummets the moment you start moving. I may make a shield for radiant heat in the future. Edited April 24, 2014 by Doug

Doug1647545489
Very nice. Did you do the install? Thanks and yes. The underhood pic is from about 80% of the way through so there is a few things missing.
