ImUrOBGYN
I think you can find a used Jaguar XFR-S for under 30. If so, I'd take a bit of time to drive one.
Trouble Maker
Gto. Ride is nice, ls2 power, nice interior and very good reliability from what ive seen I've heard they only run 14s so not really very quick.

Probably not an XFR-S but you could find a supercharged 4.2L or n/a 5.0L. They both sound amazing.
kirks5oh
Pimp daddy caddy. Love my ctsv. Comfortable, great looking, sounds incredible with the cat back, and it's fast enough that I haven't modded it. I normally mod every single car I get---every one. I haven't felt the need to mod this car. It's perfect.

Wease
Manual tranny not found on his list of "Musts". My DD is an auto, so what. Two of my other summer cars are manuals. And if he wants a decent GXP, it's going to be a good $35K, they hold their value pretty well.
RyM3rC
E60 M5s are wonderful and are on the very short list of V10 manuals, but GAWD electrical issues.... Automatic LOLOL

Zx2guy19
Serious question: Those recommending G8's or those who have them- is there any downside to them being discontinued as far as getting parts and such? I love G8's but I honestly figured most would go away from them once Pontiac went out.
Aaron
I'd imagine that the new SS and caprice cop cars share many parts with the G8. Total guess though.
Geeto67
Pretty much any V10 not made in America. I didn't know they made the M5 in america from a sound perspective I personally think the R8 v8 sounds better than the V10, an the Lambo v-12s better than the v10. Even the Lambo Jalpa v-8 sounds better. I have never heard a Carrera GT in real life so I have no comment other than to say Porsches always sound...distinctive. I don't really like the way the viper and the trucks with v10s sound, even though I know Mopar put a huge amount of time and effort into not making them sound like Ford's V10 (THE worst sounding v-10 of all time). Of course compared to a Honda Civic with a fart can muffler anything sounds better so it is a matter of perspective.
caseyctsv
Not passionate about it having to be a manual for how I use it but prefer a manual. No offense Sean but Inhabe never been a fan of the huge Grand Am styling of the G8. That is a shame as they check all of the other boxes
coltboostin
No offense Sean but Inhabe never been a fan of the huge Grand Am styling of the G8. Bingo. I could never move past that. You have to do a full holden conversion to make them look really good.
